There's no evidence for dinosaurs living with humans and the creationists knows it! They know that the remains of humans, dinosaurs, and all other organisms together are nowhere to be found in the fossil record. Yet they're too dull-minded to acknowledge this. If they cannot find any evidence for their idiocy, why not make up one themselves? And that's what they did.
Over the years, creationists meticulously distort and fabricate ancient text and art depicting mythical monsters and artist conceptions of modern animals and then fringe a discovery being made, saying that these "discoveries" are describing and/or depicting dinosaurs or dinosaur-like creatures only because they're shaped like one. Never mind the details clearly telling us they're not. They make them as if they depict dinosaurs living alongside humans and modern animals while in fact they don't. Creationists deceive their followers this way into thinking that if animals like deer, elephants, and birds are real, then chances are dinosaurs or dinosaur-like animals must be real and were seen alive by humans. Thus, refuting the evolutionist claim that dinosaurs and humans lived many millions of years apart from each other, never mind the fact that remains of humans, dinosaurs, and other organisms living and extinct are nowhere to be found together side by side in the fossil record. This is one of the biggest example of creationist deception, doing completely everything they accuse evolutionists of themselves.
This stupid logic is exactly the same way as if to say that if dolphins are real then chances are mermaids are real. If the deer is a real animal then chances are gnomes and elves are real, too and so on. Like dragons, mermaids, elves, and gnomes are not real. Thus, it is completely worthless to compare fantastic creatures and mythical monsters with real animals like deer and elephants and say they're just as real as any other animal known to mankind. Just because fantastic creatures like mermaids, gnomes, and especially dragons are shown alongside real animals doesn't mean they're real.
But creationists don't know better. They don't especially know a thing or two about the actual anatomy of the dinosaurs based on fossil evidence and prefers to rely on science fiction and Hollywood impressions of dinosaurs as well as old images of dragons to further their idiocy. Here's the latest example of this. Bodie Hodge, his utmost failure to explain why dinosaur and human remains are nowhere to be found together in the fossil record, and his latest measure of creating false evidence using a computer software and a title page scanned from an old 1578 book about John Calvin's Commentary on Genesis.
In this article, Hodge fringe being surprised at the title page he claims to have overlooked for years. No, he didn't. He's only faking it to hide from the fact that he deliberately distorted the image so that no one will ever look at the tiniest detail that clearly debunks his idiot claim about finding an "ornithopod-type dinosaur" at the bottom center of the page.
The title page is elaborately drawn with foliage, birds, and mythical animals surrounding an arch— typical of the art-deco style of the Medieval era. Hodge claims that there are 6 things he notices on the title page. One thing he allegedly notice is two birds that resemble "a pelican with slight artistic merit." They don't. None of the two birds resemble pelicans of any kind. In fact these two birds could likely be an artist's conception of a stork taken from the Bestiary, a popular old book from the Medieval era containing stories of beasts, plants, and stones that serve as allegories to teach people how to live a Christian life. According to the bestiaries,
"Storks are harbringers of spring. Parents care well for their young, and the young care for their parents when they grow old (an attribute later applied to the hoopoe). They watch their nests so zealously that they lose their feathers from constantly brooding. They are named after the rattling noise they make by striking their beaks. They are companions of society, but enemies of snakes. Two crows lead flocks of storks when they cross the sea to Asia."
What is depicted in the title page are the artist conception of two storks devouring a snake just as depicted in some images found in the bestiaries.
The next claim says,
"There are also two heads of pig on both sides near the bottom."
Wrong! That's just part of a pillar design made to look like the head of pigs no thanks to Hodge's playing around with Photoshop.
The third claim says,
"Among the other images of creatures and plants, the ones that caught my attention were along the top, just above the birds. There are two dragon-looking creatures symmetric. They have the appearance of a reptile and have a lizard-like tongue coming out, and yet the creatures have a form of wings. The two creatures are not identical. In both drawings, they appear to have long reptile-like tails, and yet one clearly has some form of forearms. This is likely some form of embellished flying dragon (or possibly sea dragon)."
These dragons are nothing more than artists' conceptions of snakes as seen in the bestiaries. The bestiaries, a lot of times, depict snakes (or serpents) as dragon-like creatures with coiling tails, mammalian heads with pointed ears, bird or bat wings, and either two or no limbs on their bodies.
Then came this.
"As I scanned the picture further, I noticed what looked like a creature that appeared to be dead in bottom center of the drawing (since it was upside-down). Another creature looked as though it was about to feast on it. The unique feet and long serpent-like tail give reptile-like characteristics to this particular creature as well. Looking closely, the drawing resembles an ornithopod-type dinosaur."
It doesn't. In fact, this is a direct distortion of an artist conception of a ichneumon (or Egyptian mongoose) killing what appears to be an asp which is the enemy of the ichneumon alongside the crocodile and the dragon according to the bestiary. Hodge heavily blackened the asp's head to hide its true appearance that must have resemble a mammalian-type head with long mammalian ears (typical of Medieval dragon art), blackened the body to hide its true identity, omitted the outlines that make up the 2 small wings and 2 limbs of the asp, and drew a blue outline around the dragon to make it as if it does resemble an "ornithopod-type dinosaur" out of complete ignorance of the real anatomy of an typical ornithopod based on fossil evidence. Real ornithopods have 4 to 5 fingers on each forearm, 4 toes in earlier types, 3 toes on the latter types, on each bird-like feet, and their tails are very stiff for balance and can't coil unlike the asp that can coil its tail and use it to stop itself from hearing the words of a charmer.
And this is his evidence for dinosaurs living with humans? Every stinkin' time creationists like Hodge say they either have or found new evidence for their idiocy, they present nothing but direct results of creationists fabricating and distorting ancient art and text. These are not evidence at all, but something creationists entirely made up using some photoshop or gimp program to distort it and present them, saying they're evidence for their idiocy while they're in fact not. In reality, creationists present nothing.
The conclusion of the article is all about slander, idiocy, and pseudo-Christianity in which Hodge claims,
"Many creationists believe that descriptions and images of dragons in history are remnants of encounters with real dinosaurs and sea monsters. The images in Calvin’s book may reflect such encounters."
They are not and Hodge knows it. He knows all too well that this is a direct result of creationists fabricating and distorting ancient and medieval art, not the result of encountering live dinosaurs. But does he care?
"These drawings are significant because this translation and its corresponding artwork were completed in 1578, long before the word dinosaur was even coined (1841 by Sir Richard Owen (Correction, Hodge: 1842)). This was also long before people began digging extensively into the ground and describing dinosaur fossils."
Sorry Hodge, people have been digging and describing fossils to their best of knowledge long before the 1800s. This is how dragons and monster legends came about according to Adrienne Mayor's Fossil Legends and the First Americans and The First Fossil Hunters: Paleontology in Greek and Roman Times. Ancient people discovering and unearthing fossils (mostly coming from mammal of the Early Cenozoic Era). They believe these strange bones and objects once belong to giants, monsters, and heroes from days of old.
"Such a finding continues to confirm what we infer from the Bible’s account of history: that man and dinosaurs didn’t live millions of years apart, but were alive at the same time."
No, none of these things confirm what you're trying to tell us all along, Hodge. They only confirm just how false, stupid, foolish, and idiotic your claims are truly, how are you failing to explain why remains of humans, dinosaurs, and other organisms living and extinct are nowhere to be found together side by side in the fossil record, and above all how are you destroying Christianity right down to the core. You have completely nothing. Nothing to present worth considering at all. Only distorted, fabricated art and text. That's it.
