Dino Den The Worst Dinosaur Exhibit Ever

There's a 2-floor section that's been opened at Ken Ham's Creation Museum (preferably and rightfully be called "Crackhouse") since July 4th of 2007 to accompany the Jurassic Park Dinosaur knock-offs that litter many parts of the crackhouse. Known as Dino Den, this section, just like the junkstore next to it, the outside area of the crackhouse, and the walkthrough entrance way in the main lobby, is littered with several dinosaur and pterosaur models that are wrongly inaccurate and unrealistically made. Example: No hair and tiny teeth on a pteranodon, another Pteranodon in the lobby area with hair, yet no pelican pouch and hardly any short tail at all, dromaeosaurs with unbird-like appearance bearing no coating of feathers on their bodies, Allosaurus-like dinosaur wrongly shown to walk on 4 legs instead of two, incorrect scale patterns on an Iguanodon, Baryonyx grossly portrayed erroneously as a 4 legged wingless dragon with dog ears, additional horns on its head, spikes jutting all over its back, and a tail ending with an arrow tip, a knock-off version of Diplodocus made for Walking with Dinosaurs with 4 elephantine legs and crooked horse-like front legs unlike real Diplodocus that has 4 elephant-type legs with a C-shaped almost toeless forefeet and two elephantine hindfeet, another WWD Diplodocus knock-off in another outdoor section also with crooked horse-like front legs, a male Protoceratops with a frill too small, Ceratosaurus with very small, yet wrongly arranged fingers with three big fingers and a tiny fourth finger, Polacanthus with no double row of huge spikes at the top of its back and scores of small to tiny spikes on the sides of its face and all over its back, flanks, and on the hip plate, Stegosaurus with no pebbly throat pouch and a cheekless mouth, one Tyrannosaur in the outside forested area shown in a classic yet now-incorrect upright, tail-dragging pose— proof that old popular dinosaur concepts die hard—- and another tyrannosaur in the Dino Den section shown to have wrinkle skin and a wrong-shaped head, Edaphosaurus shown to have a wrong shaped head, Thescelosaurus with thick T.rex-type legs and feet while the real Thescelosaurus actually has slender legs and four toes with hoof-like nails, Ornithomimosaur with a narrow body shape, thighs too short, and "slapper arms", Archaeopteryx looking more of a modern bird than a theropod related to Compsognathus, Heterodontsaurus with "paw" like hands with fingers almost the same size unlike the real Heterodontosaurus that has human-like hands with 3 very long I-III fingers and two small IV-V fingers, Ornitholestes with a long, narrow, less than squarish head and a crested nose unlike the real Ornitholestes that has a square head and no crest, and Baby Oviraptors with scaly skin and fully developed crests unlike the real baby Oviraptors that don't have crests when hatched; their crests will develop throughout their juvenile years until they become fully developed by the time the Oviraptors reach adulthood. These are made as if they're 3D versions of amateur dinosaur drawings made for a small children's book, including a model of a baby Triceratops with a blanket and a saddle on its back you could've sworn these is all the result of Buddy Davis, one of Ham's cronies who's made these models, getting this find of "inspiration" from James Gurney's fantasy series Dinotopia- hard core evidence of where creationists ever got their ideas and "inspirations" for their pseudo-bible histories from, science fiction and fantasy books. Science fiction beget science fiction and Science fiction beget religious cults including Scientology and young earthism.

Both rooms, the section and the junkstore, is set with a very unrealistic Medieval background. In his own bogus blog, Ham, in his own sick, delusional mind claims,

"Dinosaurs received their "independence" at the Creation Museum on July 4. Instead of being captured by evolutionists, they have been released to be able to have their "freedom," as explained in a biblical context-which is the correct way to explain their history."

You call that independence? You called that freedom? How are evolutionists capturing the dinosaurs, Ham? Or is it just another one of your stupid, empty-headed, propaganda declarations of ignorance, denial, and distortions of biblical context that promotes no freedom and no correct ways of explaining any history let alone dinosaur history that's entirely all made up to just rally your fool-hearted followers into believing all your stupid lies?

The dinosaur and pterosaur models dotting Dino Den and the junkstore, shown on flickr and on Ham's bogus blog, are made by Buddy Davis who's notorious for claiming to have allegedly found "fresh" unfossilized dinosaur remains in Alaska that were really fossilized after all. The exhibit also claims to have "real" fossil bones and eggs of dinosaurs shown along with the models. But are they really real, or are they just faked, cast versions of fossil eggs and bones made to look real? Knowing their blatant dishonesty in what they claimed about, I'd say the fossils shown at the exhibit are all fakes in which some are forged from Buddy's studio and made to make it as if they are real while it's not.

Other dinosaur animatronic robots, shown in very unrealistic settings such as an ancient city wall, are just knock-off versions of Jurassic Park dinosaurs made by a man who formerly works for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

The exhibit is also said to contain a badly built cast skeleton of a Triceratops that's not as accurate as the real skeletal mounts of Triceratops shown in real museums based on the latest studies of the dinosaur's bone structure. The mount shown in Ham's crackhouse (below) is built to portray Triceratops in an old fashioned pose…

in comparison with real modern accurate reconstructions of Triceratops (below is "Cliff" from the Boston Museum of Science) shows a more accurate dynamic pose based on modern studies of the anatomy of this three-horned dinosaur.

The exhibit also features some crappy videos and a theater where tourists can go in and see a 12 minute film promoting the dragon/dinosaur fallacy which I've shown to you all to be nothing more than fabrications creationists have rigged up by taking ancient literature out of context and twist them to fit their "baby earth" perspective and make it as if they are accounts of people meeting live dinosaurs instead of what they really are. Then, the tourists will be escorted to the junkstore, the so-called "dragon bookstore" unrealistically resembling a castle reading room where dotting the area are unrealistically made pterosaur models, a Baryonyx that isn't, and scores of crappy junk on sale, including a book targeting young children entitled, It's Designed To Do What It Does Do, which is also made up by Davis (Based on one of his idiot songs, no doubt.) who along with Ham has made this book up to compete against Ten Little Dinosaurs and other toddler-style wiggly eye books for the minds of little toddlers who are extremely vulnerable to be exposed at by even the most dangerous and venomous of lies ever spew out in front of their faces by Davis and Ham's' fairy tale literature.

Here's another example of how Dino Den is to be really regarded as <strong>the worst dinosaur exhibit ever — no, THE WORST DINOSAUR HALL EVER!! Note one of the plaques being display alongside one of the crappy dinosaur models displayed there.

Note in the plaque where Ornitholestes is said to have been found in rock layer wise. Doesn't it give you a very false impression that this dinosaur lived during the fifth dynasty of Egypt during the reign of Pharaoh King Unas who reigned from 2375–2345 BC while in reality, Ornitholestes actually lived during the Late Jurassic Period about 150 million years ago? According to the plaque, it is the year 2348 BC when the Flood allegedly occurred. Problem is, King Unas, let alone all ancient Egyptians, had no recollections whatsoever of the alleged Flood taking place during their lifetime. Nowhere do we see evidence of the Flood in ancient Egyptian records let alone all other ancient records dating to that time. It just comes to show how pathetically absent-minded Ken Ham really is when it comes to ancient history, yet very devious and deceptive at the same time in going about distorting and twisting the Bible, social issues, science, history, art, literature, and the fossil record around to fit his way of thinking and ignorance so he can get the people to believe what he wants people to believe without question. His views on morality and history whether ancient, biblical, or prehistoric is outrageously stupid, deplorable, hypocritical, and pathetically worthless!

Egypt - The world's greatest debunkers of young earthism. If you want to really refute creationism, look to the pyramids.

It's without doubt all made up to take advantage of both the huge popularity of dinosaurs and the people (mainly children) who love dinosaurs deeply and plan to use such models to proselytize people especially children into believing all their stupid lies, pseudo-histories, pseudo-bible stories, pseudo-Christianity, and empty fantasies creationists made up about dinosaurs for their own criminal ends. Thus, Dino Den is, without doubt, the worst dinosaur exhibit ever.
