Here is one of the purest examples of creationists being everything they accuse evolutionists of. If you think Barney is bad, Ken Ham's talking dino"sores" is even worse!
These inaccurate dinosaur models built for the crackhouse (creation "museum") in Petersberg, Kentucky are featured in the May 23, 2005 article entitled, If Dinosaurs Could talk.. In it, the author of the article Michael Mathews creates unnecessary, worthless hype with this slanderous statement,
"If only dinosaurs could speak. Held hostage for nearly two-hundred years by the enemies of God, several dinosaurs are now free to set the record straight. No more lies. No more false testimony. No more propaganda."
No more facts. No more intellect. No more reality. All denial. All hypocrisy. All Dee Dees, No Dexters!
Well…maybe just one.
Seriously, how are they held hostage? Or is it something the creationists made up in their heads to further their lies and propaganda along with their hypocrisy and their senseless attitudes no different than that of the Nazis, the Taliban, and the Al Qaeda? The so-called enemies of God are those who reject the teaching of young earthism regardless of whether they are Christians or not. So, several dinosaurs, according to Mathews, are "free" to be in denial of reality. According to an old dinosaur myth as popularized in many classic dinosaur books, because dinosaurs have small brains, it means dinosaurs must have been pathetically stupid creatures with no brains or will to survive. How appropriate is these dino"sores" Mathews claim are free to set the records straight with more lies, more false testimony, and more senseless propaganda.
Here's more senselessness,
"Combining the 'magic' of modern technology and the truth of God’s Word, AiG’s Creation Museum has discovered the secret to bringing dinosaurs 'back to life.' A sauropod, a T. rex, a dinosaur raptor, a triceratops, these are just a few of the dinosaurs that you’ll meet in the completed museum. Their 'sworn testimony' will astound the world."
So this is the deal, using the so-called modern technology that was actually formed by people behind evolutionary science that did wonders to help find cures for diseases, increase knowledge on how natural things work, build better communities, etc., along with the pseudo-truth of God's Word that makes a liar of God and His Word on a daily bases by spreading stupid lies and blasphemous falsehoods while ignoring the total lack of human and dinosaur bone mixtures in the fossil record.
Dinosaurs are NO testimony to the fictional 6000 year old universe YECs falsely preached as truth.
The first dino"sore" we find in the so-called "museum" (better called a crackhouse) is the animatronic young T. rexes in the lobby who have been brainwashed to say,
"Of course we lived at the same time as humans! God made dinosaurs on the same day as Adam. And later we drank from the same waters as Adam’s children."
All pretend. No fossils of humans and dinosaurs together have been found in the fossil record. Remains of Adam's children with their pet dinosaurs that drank the same waters together a long time ago? Then where are the evidence for such a scenario that allegedly happened a few thousands of years ago in the fossil record? If the answer is nowhere other the young earthers own heads, you're absolutely right!
The next one is a fictional version of a "fossil raptor" buried halfway on a pretend dig site allegedly dated to around 300 million years ago (No dinosaur lived at that time.) according to one of the concept artwork made for the idiot "museum". The fictional, fossil raptor stupidly says,
"I lived about 4,500 years ago. How do I know? Well, fossils don’t come with birth certificates, but we can read an eyewitness account from someone who was there, the Creator Himself. In God’s Word, the History Book of the Universe, we read about a global Flood that buried all the living things on Earth.
No dinosaur lived 4,500 years ago to the time of the construction of the pyramids, except birds. Young earthers demand only eyewitness accounts to help them prove that the world is billions of years old. The only eyewitness they will ever get is the valid physical scientific evidence that points to the opposite of what the young earthers claim about earth and the universe. The so-called history book of the universe is a totally false eyewitness account which allegedly claims that the earth is young while ignoring the true evidence which points to the exact opposite of what creationists claim about what it says. Hence, making the Author of the Bible (God) and the Bible itself into a bold-face liar. If the Bible lies, God lies. Blasphemy.
Mathews then says,
"In the next room, guests learn how the "facts" get distorted by museums and school textbooks."
What the visitor will see is exactly what young earthers do themselves. Hypocrisy all the way.
God is a liar when He says that the earth is 6,000 years old and dinosaurs once lived with man, and yet turns around and plant evidence everywhere that points to the opposite that says the earth is billions of years old and dinosaurs lived and died long before man appeared on earth. This is what young earthers brand God exactly as.
If creationists are all liars (which they are), then so is God and so is the Bible. If God and the Bible says the world was created 6,000 years ago and yet the scientific evidence says honestly flat out that the earth is billions of years old, then God is a liar who misleads people, especially children, into believing in a scenario that doesn't exist and so is the Bible. This has got to be the worst case of blasphemy since the Pharisees called Jesus "Beelzebub, the chief of demons" when he drove out a demon from a man in Matthew 12:22-37.
By the way, the only so-called "birth-certificates" that the fossils have in most cases is radioisotopes which compell scientists to use radiometric dating methods to help date fossils to the time way beyond 6,000 - 10,000 years.
The third dino"sore" is another pretend raptor in a room on worldviews which says,
"Don’t believe everything you see. Dinosaurs did not turn into birds! That’s a tall tale with no foundation in reality! The ‘Age of Dinosaurs, millions of years ago’ was concocted to promote a belief that life arose without God. It makes more sense to believe God’s account in Genesis 1, which says that He made every ‘kind’ of bird before He made the land animals."
This quote demands all to bow to the strictest reading and following of the Bible— the creationist way. Never mind the actual literal reading and following of the Bible as told by the likes of R. Crumb. Still, don't YOU believe what this "robo-raptor" says. What it claimed about dinosaurs turning into birds, the age of dinosaurs, and millions of years ago is exactly what young earthism really is, a tall tale with no foundation in reality and was concocted to promote a belief that life arose without God just by demanding people to forcefully choose one or the other (i.e. You cannot have both God or evolution; It's either God or No God; It's either God or Goo; and other similar statements.).
When young earthers teach this, they are setting the Christian faith up for the fall. When one hears YECs bark out lies and say that it is true, and yet turned around and see in the scientific evidence that it is not so. Then he will realized that everything young earthers teach is all a lie. And if young earthism is a lie, then so is God. And if God is a lair, even though the Bible says for one to never tell a lie, then why should anyone believe and embrace Christianity in the first place?
Note the caption on the left added to an image that gives a viewer a false impression of what scientists do when they reconstruct a dinosaur based on factual evidence. The caption reads,
"In the second room of the (sic) Creation Museum, we’ll show how natural history museums are putting feathers on a dinosaur raptor to make him look like an ancestor of birds!"
This is the YECs' way of using what scientists do in Natural History Museums against the scientists who work there themselves. Is that what I call a fear-inducing propaganda that both says "Don't go in there! Hate them! They are all liars! God's enemies who want to destroy you!" or what?
As a matter of fact when the crackhouse opened on Memorial Day 2007, no such room was put there. In fact crackhouse turned out to be nothing more than a walkthrough area filled with animatronic models, large plaques containing propaganda, movies, petting zoo, junk store in a medieval castle-style setting filled with fictional dragons and inaccurate models of pterosaurs, gross pig-out bar, and horribly inaccurate Hollywood caricatures of dinosaurs plastered all over the building inside and out— all made up to lure people into getting their ears and eyes full of stupid lies, falsehoods, hate, propaganda, slander, pseudo-histories, and scenarios that will still be a common occurrance all over the earth even when everyone universally embraces Ham's views of solving all of the world's problems and ending all society ills.
There is hard core evidence pointing to the fact that dinosaurs did evolve into birds. Especially the ones that are discovered and unearthed in China. Only one feathered dinosaur fossil have been proven to be fake. All the rest are real, including the valid ones that made up the forgery that actually belonged to 2 separate fossils belonging to 2 dinosaurs, Yanornis and Microraptor.
The fourth dino"sore" actually are promoting evolution when he says,
"Yep, that’s my great-great-grandfather, who lived about 6,000 years ago. God created him on Day 6, along with all the other land animals (Genesis 1:25). Don’t you see the family resemblance?"
No dinosaur lived 6,000 years ago except birds. If God did what the young earthers claim He did, He must have design them to be living, breathing cloning machines to make exact duplicate versions of one another, including sheep that were all created to produce one "Dolly" after another if what YECs claim to be the case.
Believe it or not, even though they blatantly refuse to admit this, young earthers are teaching evolution when they claim that all of the great diversity of creatures are direct descendants of the original basic animals that were created on Days 5 and 6 of Creation Week and were given names by Adam. Eventually, while most creatures die off in the Flood, those basic kinds of animals that survived the Flood inside the ark, left the ark to reproduce and became greatly diverse again, developing into a huge varieties of animals we see today since the Flood. This is what young earthers teach, never wanting to admit that what they teach is exactly what they highly regard as a lie - Evolution.
The fifth dino"sore" are actually a bunch of idiot dino"sores" in the fictional Garden of Eden are not only displaying what I've been talking about, but they are being no worse than Barney when they say
"Yes, sir! When Adam named all the beasts of the field, it was easy for him to name the dinosaur families, too. There are probably only about sixty actual ‘kinds.'"
Wait a minute. I thought Ham says there were only about 50 actual "kinds" of dinosaurs out there. Looks like Ham and Mathews has a bit of a trouble making up his mind over how many dinosaur species out there. He teach there were only 50 different kinds of dinosaur, now he turns around and says that there are now about 60 different "kinds". It's evident Ham and other YECs dredged up this just-so concept of God creating less than 200 species of animals from their heads because there's no way can Adam name all 600 plus dinosaur species in one whole day let alone naming the rest of the 9 million plus animal species out there as well as try to fit them all inside the ark to escape the Flood.
Now, this sixth dino"sore" here is let "loose" in the so-called corruption valley where he uses Adam as a scapegoat for its lifestyle.
"Look, don’t blame God for my ferocious appetite. God originally made us to eat plants (Gen. 1:30), but Adam’s sin brought a curse upon the whole world."
.. says the fictional dinosaur who were originally created to lay waste his sharp teeth on some dumb veggie glop it and others are force to eat by God. This is all made up to promote the no-death-before-fall fallacy that's neither scientifically nor Biblically correct no matter how many times YECs insist for it to be so.
Now, here's another group of dino"sores" being led up into the fictional ark as babies even though Noah was told to take up adults only into the ark. Here they barf out,
"It’s easy to explain how we fit on the Ark. It was the size of an ocean liner and the average size of dinosaurs were the size of sheep. Even the few ‘big guys’ were most likely young adults (of average dinosaur size) when they boarded the Ark."
Even if they were all sheep, that still does not explain how can Noah cram all of them inside of a so-called ocean liner size vessel that's a small tugboat compared with huge massive ocean liners of today that are much bigger and much longer than a 450x75x45 coffin-like ark. By the way, did you know that the ark comes from a Hebrew word aron which means a 'box', a 'chest', even a 'coffin'? A coffin is appropriate image to fit the YE version of Noah's ark that brings all of the animals and people to their deaths by disease, boredom, bugs, and the post-flood aftermath.
There is no common sense in YECism. Only the exact opposite. The eighth dino"sore" (actually they are a bunch of so-called "living fossils" stationed in a so-called post-flood room) lies to the visitors about the extinction of the dinosaurs by saying,
"Just how did dinosaurs die? Skeptics are open to every wild idea - except the possibility of a global Flood. If you have an open mind, you can see the evidence all around you: billions of dead things buried in rock layers laid down by water all over the earth."
No one has an open mind in YECsim. If what they claim is true, then where are the billions of dead things that are laid down by water all over the earth that should have been much easy to find on a daily bases? How come we are finding LESS than that? How come we are finding fossils that are laid down by everything BUT Noah's Flood? If Noah's flood was the one responsible for the fossils, then why do we find evidence of tracks made by migrating dinosaurs that are only walking instead of running, small insect burrows, eggs, nests, and feces not being swept away that all says in full-frontal view, "Not made by Noah's flood?" Questions YECs can't honestly answer without invoking groundless miracles with no foundation to explain it all.
Now we get to the last dino"sore". A skeleton created by a YEC, who never study the actual skeleton enough to get the skeletal structure right. And it says,
"What’s my story? You’ll find out as soon as AiG’s Creation Museum is completed!"
The story you wish to never hear is the story that's exactly everything young earthers exactly say about evolution and the millions of years concept.
For the rest of the article, Mathews gives out the reason to why there are so many dinosaurs in the "museum." He claims,
"They’re at the center stage of the debate about the age of the Earth and the authority of the Bible."
Actually they are here to lure hapless families, especially small children into a web of lies and falsehoods that have absolutely no authority over the Bible. This crackhouse is doing exactly what Mathews claim of what scientists who accept evolution are doing to people everywhere.
One must wonder how are this generation is being brainwashed into falsehoods as Mathews claims,
"Our generation has been brainwashed (not) with factual stories about dinosaurs who died 65 million years ago (put in quotations by Mathews). Yet most people don’t realize that this is just a façade to keep them from trusting the fictional history upon which the false gospel is based (my responses in bold)."
..while the young earthers are doing all of the brainwashing themselves with stories of dinosaurs who lived thousands of years ago themselves?
In the immortal words of PZ Myers:
"They are peddling toys. They are not thinking. They are not exploring ideas. They are not examining the evidence. They are pawing stupidly at symbols and pop artifacts, but there is no understanding there. They don't comprehend what dinosaurs mean."
Every word he says has merit.
Brainwashing people into young earthism that exactly what YECs like Mathews does. Constantly repeating every false statement they make and have Christians attending their idiot seminars repeat everything the young earthers say, sounding like as if they are training parrots to mimic exactly what their trainers say to them. Thus, brainwashing Christians, especially children, into having blind faith (not worth defending) in a fictional world with a 6,000 year history with dinosaurs and man living together at one time, and that it's OK to lie, slander, hate, and show contempt towards those who oppose their views even though they are told to follow the teachings of the Bible that tells them to do the exact opposite. Is this Christian? No, it is not.
What this crackhouse will do is blow people's minds, brainwashing people into believing in a world that in fact don't exist. It will not solve mysteries. It will make visitors get high on narcotics in form of young earth propaganda that will in fact kill off all the Christian faith of so many people and destroy their very lives - religion and all. What creationists advocate everywhere is proof that no good can come out of young earthism.
