Like his father before him, John Morris is a young earth creationist who is a staunch follower of the “Letter of the Law,” comprised of made up stories shoehorned into the KJV Biblical passages of Genesis 1-11. Like all creationists, Morris believes and preaches a false doctrine, saying that dinosaurs lived with man a few thousand years ago and claims that the Bible is the evidence needed to prove that what he claims is true. There's no doubt that his father invented all of this. Who else invented the concept of dinosaurs living with man other than Hollywood and science fiction writers? On Morris' idiot site, there is a list of questions and answers Morris made up to promote his delusional dogma. Some of the Q&As feature dinosaurs and his made up falsehood beliefs about them. One of the questions on dinosaurs he gave out is, How Do The Dinosaurs Fit In? Answer: They don't. But that doesn't stop Morris from trying to fit the dinosaurs in his idiocy despite finding not a single trace of evidence for it.
In the first part of the article, he uses his imagination and writes,
"When first exposed to the creation model of earth history, Christians and non-Christians alike usually ask the same question: "What about the dinosaurs?" It seems that decades of evolutionary brainwashing have led many people to equate dinosaurs with evolution. Dinosaurs have long been an effective tool for teaching evolutionary dogma, but they really did exist, and therefore must somehow fit into the Biblical framework regardless of what the fossil record really tells us. (My adding in bold)"
This is how he introduce the reader to his ignorance of the fossil record being void of dinosaurs and humans together and in response to those who believe that dinosaurs never existed. In direct response to the truthful notion of creationism being a indoctrinating religion, creationists like Morris would backlash, claiming evolution is a indoctrinating religion while it's not and they know it. This is no doubt one of the most stupidest claims creationists make about science and evolution while there are no churches of evolution, no evolution hymns, no temples to evolution, nothing. It is all made up in a mudslinging, backlash response to the truthful claims about creationism being an indoctrinating religion it rightfully is.
Next Morris gives a lowdown what he thinks dinosaurs and their contemporaries were really in his mind. He claims they were all created on the 5th and 6th day of Creation Week, which the Bible speaks nothing of, along with all other animals and people on an overcrowded planet to be plant-eaters despite having no features in their jaws and their stomachs that helps them to digest plants. He claims there was no death before the Fall of Man, yet there were death occurring before the Fall when both animals and people partake in the killing of plants life which are living things just like what animals and people are.
Morris is aware that some animals especially some dinosaurs do have sharp teeth, sharp claws, spikes, plates, and other forms of defenses. However, Morris, to explain the features, make believes that the animals and plants all achieve the offensive and defensive features just after Adam and Eve sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. Like all Creationists, Morris is making it all up as if all life forms are guilty of the sins of Adam and Eve by blaming all these animal features on Adam and Eve whom he claims also changed instantly after they ate the forbidden fruit. The reality is that none had anything to do with it. This is his way of distorting the Genesis 3 passage so that he'll never have to face the fact that the only ones that are to blame for the first sin is Adam, Eve, and the serpent. Nothing else.
He claims that young adult dinosaurs “no bigger than a cow perhaps” were taken up into the ark, assuming that Dinosaurs were reptiles and like reptiles they will continued to grow throughout their lives with the biggest being the oldest and the smallest being the youngest. Yet, he ignores the fact that dinosaurs come in all shapes and sizes, even in baby and juvenile forms, and are far from being reptiles; they grow up real fast in a matter of months if not years. Even if they are babies or young adults, there's still no way for Noah to fit them all into the ark even if they were only 50 basic types Noah took up inside the ark to escape the Flood.
Morris then asserts that after the Flood, the dinosaurs gradually die off due to the harsh climate, less vegetation, and humans hunting and killing off dinosaurs for food or for sport as indicated by the many legends of dragons to which he claims contains descriptions that closely fit the descriptions of dinosaurs. This indication is the direct result of his father fabricating the dragon legends to make it as if what he claims about dragon legends if true while it's in fact not.
There is no evidence for Morris' young earth dogma found anywhere on Earth. But that doesn't stop creationists like Morris from believing and preaching this tripe on a daily bases using only the Bible as their only, yet false evidence for their idiocy.
What the fossil record speaks about and what Morris claims the Bible speaks to us about is 2 different things. This article entitled, Did Dinosaurs Hunt in packs? attempts to explain that it is not that the fossils are of pack animals that have died trying to bring down a potential prey or that the fossils were of plants and animals that were victims of localized flash flooding, it's just that they were carried from elsewhere by the Flood after it destroyed and tore apart their bodies. This is false. Here Morris claims that the partially intact fossils of dinosaurs (let alone partially intact fossils of plants and animals) found broken and jumbled up were the result of them being torn apart by Noah's Flood that carried them to the spot where they were discover and unearthed years later. That's false, too.
This nonsense is made up out of ignorance and blatant denial of the many, many cases of dinosaur fossils that were found 95-100% completely intact, telling us that these fossils were made from different periods of time in conditions much quieter than a heavy duty violent Flood which would have destroyed the bodies completely without a trace if such a Flood occurred. This also ignores the many traces of broken carnivore teeth and teeth marks found in and around the remains, indicating that the bodies of dinosaurs that have died while trying to cross a river at flood stage were later scavenged by dinosaurs like Albertosaurus and Majungasaurus before sediments gradually cover the bodies up.
Some fully intact fossils were found with diseased parts, indicating that the dinosaurs must have died of an ailment (i.e. A Stegosaurus fossil, found in 1992, had a broken, infectious tail spike, telling scientists that this stegosaurid died of a bacterial infection in the tail.). Others were found in sandy and volcanic sediments, indicating that the dinosaurs must have died and buried either in a sandstorm or in a volcanic eruption on the spot (Creationists would like to make you think that the "fountains of the deep" in Genesis 7:11 refers to volcanoes erupting at the start of the Flood while being ignorant of the fact that there's no indications of such things found anywhere in the Bible and that the Flood is made up of only water and tsunamis. Nothing else). The rest were remains of victims of landslides, mudslides, and other natural causes that had nothing to do with Noah's Flood.
So much for Morris' "Bye-bull" being an eyewitness account of the Earth's origins.
Here's another of “Dr.” Morris' moronic explanation on dinosaurs. Like all YECs, Morris believes that some dinosaurs survive the Flood and eventually become a subject of stories involving dragons and other mythical monsters. That belief was invented as a result of the creationists fabricating selective dragon and monster legends, making them exactly what they themselves wanted them to be.
This article, entitled Did Dinosaurs Survive The Flood?, contains the same old made-up falsehood creationists always preached about for decades since the 1970s' beginning with Bernard Northrup What You Should Know About — Dinosaurs and Duane Gish's Dinosaurs Those Terrible Lizards and kicking it off into high gear in the late 1980s with Paul Taylor's The Great Dinosaur Mystery and the Bible and David Unfred's Dinosaurs and the Bible, and bloom and blossom in the 1990s with an onslaught of more materials that preach this tripe and the perversion continues to this day with Ken Ham's dumb idiot book Dinosaurs for Kids.
The first article starts off,
"The Bible is clear. The ancestors of every animal that ever lived were created during Creation Week. Each basic animal type was created "after his kind" and all subsequent individual animals, including dinosaurs, descended from these created categories."
Here, according to the beliefs of the creationists, all varieties of animal life were descendants of the basic animal types that were created on Days 5 and 6 of creation week. There's no "Bible is clear" to it. It's all made up and shoehorned into the Bible which speaks nothing about such things.
It looks like what Morris is really teaching here is the very same thing they continuously claim to be all a lie – evolution. Creationists teach evolution! No ifs, ands, or buts about it. They do teach evolution whether they want to admit it or not. The very same thing they regard as a lie is the very same thing they preached about in their dogma. The difference is evolution according to creationists happened at a rapid pace in a short time just like Poke'mon
He then goes on with his tripe about dinosaurs pterosaurs and marine reptiles being created on Days 5 and 6 and the subsequent curse, sin, and flood that followed afterwords. He then claims,
"Outside the Ark, marine creatures died by the trillions, but at least some of them survived to continue those 'kinds' after the flood, and thus at least some marine "dragons" survived. Sailors have ever since, even up to the present, reported "dragons" at sea. It may be that some are still alive."
If their were trillions of Marine creatures living at the same time and has allegedly died in the Flood, the seas would have been terribly an overcrowded place with little or no room for space to swim about. Concerning the fossil beds such as the Karoo Formation, which contains fossil remains of a whopping 800 billion species of animal life, the best and better explanation behind all of them is that these fossils are of animals that once lived on Earth in separate periods of time. The latter part of the claim is indeed false just like all creationists' claims. Anyone who is familiar with sea dragon stories will know that none of the monsters and sea dragons' descriptions could ever match that of Plesiosaurs, Mosasaurs, and Ichthyosaurs. The sea monsters described in the non-fabricated version of the stories are described as giant sea serpents with coiling bodies and fins resembling the fins of an ordinary fish. Others are described as creatures with many arms, have scaly or slimy skin, and sprout water from their mouths. In no way do they resembled Mesozoic Marine Reptiles that had bodies like long necked sea turtles, dolphins and crocodiles without any armor on them. Instead, the sea monsters of myth and folklore all resembled sharks, whales, seals, salt water crocodiles, dead carcasses of these animals, and most of all, giant, colossal squids.
Then Morris speculated that after the Flood, pterosaurs and dinosaurs left the ark only to face extinction due to in Morris' words, “….sparse vegetation, the destruction of the pre-flood water canopy, and the temperature extremes during the ensuing Ice Age…” One has to wonder, if God wanted all animals to be salvaged to reproduce and fill the Earth once more and yet they in most cases die off after the Flood, then what's the point of rescuing them anyway if their post-Flood fate reads death and extinction for them?
No doubt to this day, some creationists still used the vapor canopy falsehood which was first issued by Issac Newton in 1874, not knowing that the idea he invented is as flawed and false as the young earth dogma itself. If there ever was such a canopy, “Hell on Earth” will take on a much literal meaning. Even if the canopy collapse in the Flood, there will still be a literal Hell on Earth with no Ice Age occurring at all. Earth will be just like Venus if there was such a canopy.
The rest of the article covers a lot dinosaur/dragon fallacies, including faulty claims of Behemoth and Leviathan being dinosaurs of the Bible, which they are not, and alleged sightings of live dinosaurs made by the likes of Herodotus, Marco Polo, Alexander The Great, and alleged sightings of live pterosaurs made by Native Americans whom creationists claimed to be responsible for making alleged cave drawings of dinosaurs that are in fact mythical monsters resembling limbless snakes with bird-like wings, giant birds, and other modern animals of antiquity, conceptions drawn of modern animals made by those who have never saw them before yet heard about them, and phony artifacts made up for profit and personal gain.
Every example creationists came up to further their claim of dragons and Thunderbirds being live dinosaurs and pterosaurs people saw long ago all have the word “fabrications” written all over them. These stories are exactly what they are. Fabrications. Made up stories that are the result of creationists taking mythology and folklore out of context, distort, and twist the context of the story around to fit them in with their young earth beliefs while leaving out features that tells them flat out that dragons and Thunderbird monsters are everything dinosaurs and pterosaurs are not.
In the end, Morris concludes,
"There is much we don't know about dinosaurs, but the evidence fits the Biblical model well. Evolutionists, however, have difficulty explaining away dragon legends, cave drawings, and even modern "sightings." Furthermore, they can't explain either their demise or their evolution. The "just-so" stories they tell are inferior to a reconstruction of the past based on the Bible."
Just like all creationists, Morris is continuously in denial. He claims that evolutionists have difficulty explaining away legends, drawings and sightings and can never explain either their demise or their evolution which is a blatant lie— told out of ignorance of evolutionists being the exact opposite of what he claimed about them. He goes all the way of regarding what he falsely calls “just-so” stories as inferior to his daddy's dogma. And yet Morris and all other creationists, who made up "just-so" stories themselves, refuse to admit that they themselves have a much greater difficulty explaining away the complete lack of human and dinosaur remains mixed together in the fossil record, let alone have great difficulty explaining away why some animals have sharp teeth, sharp claws, poison venom, spines, etc if they were originally created to be strict vegans (vegetarians) as creationists wrongfully assume they were.
