Oh The Irony...

First, creationists say that dinosaurs and humans lived together at the same time and then turn around and say that they never really interacted, but kept themselves apart from each other despite constant showings of scenarios, including sculptures and drawings, depicting dinosaurs wearing saddles, pulling wagons, and people keeping dinosaurs as pets? Ooh, the irony…

As mentioned in one of my past posts (here), creationists have a very hard time explaining to their lay audience why are there no human and dinosaur remains found together in the fossil record if what they say about dinosaurs and humans co-existing with one another is true, which is not. To explain this, creationists would make up all sorts of false "hypothesis" and idiotic explanations, both riddled with problems and stupidities, to explain why the fossil record have no dinosaur and human remains mixed together. Just like Bodie Hodge is doing here in this 2007 feedback from Ken Ham's idiot site. This feedback, dated to June 8, is made up in response to a statement sent out by an M.D. from the U.S who says (with grammatical errors and misspellings included),

You assumptions are quite inaccurate. We should have human remains with dinosaur remains, but you reject this illogically. We have human remains in the fossile recirds whenever there were other beasts with us at the time. To call out some immacualte exception to this with respect to dinosaurs is incredulous, at best.

One must wonder if that came from an early grade schooler who has yet to master the art of spelling big words like "fossil record" and "immaculate." Either that or he must have been typing in and sending out the feedback so fast that he never bothered to check the spelling of what he wrote. Anyway, in response to this feedback, Hodge begins his far-fetched remarks,

"I deny the assertion that humans and dinosaurs should be buried and fossilized together. But for the sake of understanding, let's think about this logically for a moment. If there were a worldwide flood today (that is, a marine catastrophe that overtakes the land), what are the odds of the few Emperor penguins that would get fossilized in Antarctica being buried with the few humans that would get fossilized around the rest of the world? Pretty slim. If the two aren't buried together, this does in no way indicate that humans and penguins didn't live at the same time."

That's IF they are buried on the spot in the exact same sediment layer and not get washed away by massive strong flood currents that would float the bodies to places far away from where they came from, where mass loads of swirling drowned bodies of any animal and human coming from all over the world would accumulate to form the world's largest graveyard filled with jumbled bodies of both human and animal alike. So, Hodge's logical thinking is not really logical at all.

Hodge then offers,

There are many possible reasons for humans and dinosaurs not to be buried together:

"1. It is highly unlikely that humans and dinosaurs would live together … I know I wouldn't choose to live near a large carnivorous dinosaur at least!;.."

Note the irony here. It's not that they never lived at the same time, it's just that they lived {waving two fingers on each hand} "separately" {/waving two fingers on each hand} from each other. Never mind all those scenarios creationists show off in their idiot materials and crackhouse exhibits depicting dinosaurs mingling with humans who kept them as pets and made them pull wagons, wear bridals, nose rings, and saddles, and carry loads on their backs like camels, horses, oxen, donkeys, and other beasts of burden.

"2. humans were most likely more able to succesfully flee from the floodwaters the longest, which would keep their burial separate;.."

while never succeeding to explaining why are there plants and animals of certain types found exclusively in rock layers and nowhere else above and below it.

Food for thought: A wall of water coming at them at top speed of about 200 MPH, as reference here, will give dinosaurs and humans NO CHANCES of ever escaping from the Floodwaters no matter how fast they run.

"3. given the amount of sedimentary rock, we still have a great deal to explore before we could say with any confidence that the two aren't found together; and 4) finding or not finding the two co-fossilized doesn't support or detract from either creationism or evolution-it is not "proof" of much of anything-it only proves that at that specific time, in that specific place, under those specific conditions, that the two weren't together</em>."

In other words, Hodge and his cronies is not going to bother dealing with it because they not only knew that it contradicts their made up paper idol, but they also knew deep down inside that the complete absence of dinosaur and human remains together in the fossil record along with the complete absence of valid accounts of human and dinosaur interactions (never mind their made-up fabrications, distorted artifacts, hoaxes, forgeries, and out of context manuscripts) found in any historical and archaeological records will clearly destroy their fairy tale logic of dinosaurs and humans living, working, frolicking, and playing together as depicted in James Gurney's fantasy series Dinotopia and it did.

In a response to another part of the feedback, Hodge claims,

Perhaps some, but coelacanths, ginkgo trees, Laotian rock rat, and so on, aren't buried with humans, and yet we live together today. The problem is the way you are looking at the fossil layers. Don't be afraid to question that what you think (or perhaps what you were taught in school) about the fossil record: that there are no other possible (and, we would submit, more plausable) explanations.

In other words, ignore what you have been taught in schools along with what you saw in the valid scientific and historical records and conform to the narrow minded, made-up views of the creationists, who are in absolute denial of the term The Lazarus Taxon, which gingko, coelacanths, and Laotian Rock Rat is all part of and humans and dinosaurs are not.

The rest of the article displays Hodge's sheer denial of historical records, including ones that even debunks his claims about how long does it take for fossils to form,

In light of the biblical account of a worldwide Flood about 4,400 years ago, we can offer another interpretation of the physical evidence. The bulk of the fossiliferous layers are really an order of burial, not a record of millions of years. So the fossil layers often called the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and so on that contain dinosaur fossils were laid down over the course of a year about 4,400 years ago.

As discussed before, the claim greatly contradicts Genesis 7:17-23 that says "everything that breathed died" during the 40 days and 40 nights of constant rain on earth. Plus, 4,400 years ago during the time of the 5th Dynasty in the Old Kingdom of Egypt between the reigns of Pharoah Niuserre and Pharoah Menkauhor Kiau. Nowhere did the Egyptian records dating back to that time say anything about what creationists claimed to have happened over there concerning a worldwide flood.

Human fossils have been found in the layers often called the lower Pleistocene and Pliocene (which most creationists consider post-Flood probably during the dispersion from Babel less than 4,200 years ago)! So looking at the layers from a biblical perspective, fossils of man and dinosaurs were formed within 200-500 years of each other!

Kinda contradicts the notion of human remains being of humans that have all fled to higher ground during the flood, don't you think? And yet Hodge, with exclamation points added, now wants to consider all human remains dated from the Pleistocene and Pliocene Epoch to be [sic] "post-flood humans" that have allegedly died during the alleged dispersion from Babel. Such irony of desperation here. There would never have been any fossilization in any form occurring among the carcasses to begin with if that was the case. The bodies would've all rotted away and/or eaten by scavengers and their bones crumpled away to dust by the timespan of 200-500 years has passed. Plus, 4,200 years ago is at the time of the reign of Pepi II Neferkare of the 6th dynasty in Egypt. Nowhere did the Egyptian records dating back to that time say anything about what creationists claimed to have happened over there concerning the Babel incident. And finally, this doesn't explain why are there no human remains found below the Pleistocene and Pliocene layers if all human fossils are "post-flood" remains as claimed by the creationists.

And then, we learn through Hodge that Ham has updated his false Answers Book which will contain Hodge's crackpot assertions and hair-brained explanations about what is addressed here. And in the end of his article, Hodge just simply says,

"I also want to encourage you to read and trust what God says in His Word. The history in the Bible is true and explains the world and because its history is true the message of the gospel is also true."

And false when it comes to the mythical young earth. If they say that the Bible along with its history and gospel is true and explains everything and yet the historical, archaeological, and scientific records clearly points to the exact opposite, then the Bible, let alone its history and the message of the gospel according the the creationists, is not to be trusted at all.
