Ham's Lie About When Dinosaurs Lived
Page 11: claims the reader might be saying, “What does all of this have to do with dinosaurs?” Answer: None. None of this has anything to do with dinosaurs. However, Ham claims Colossians 1:16 tells us that God created everything (word all capitalized) including thorns, poisons, carnivores, and everything else that both help and hurt everything for the good of all Creation. Still, it has nothing to do with dinosaurs. Ham says that God created dinosaurs. So what? This doesn't bar Him from causing everything to evolve and change over time. If God just created everything to remain the same, then He render everything living, boring cloning machines constantly making exact carbon copies of the original form. He then says that God created dinosaurs on day 6 of Creation along side of man and all other land animals God has made. That's not what the Bible really says. The Bible says that God created animals before he created man which conflicts another verse in Genesis 2 which says that God created animals after man was created.
Ham tells about how the dinosaurs were first coined by Sir Richard Owen in 1841 (Wrong! It's 1842, not 41.). Ham also failed to mention that there was a third dinosaur that Owen was describing fossil remains of. Hylaeosaurus (forest reptile) that was described along side of the remains of Megalosaurus and Iguanodon. The fossils of these strange reptiles is what led Owen to coined the name Dinosauria meaning “fearfully great lizards.” The word “dinosaur” is actually a short version of it. Although an inappropriate word, for not all dinosaurs were 'fearfully great' or 'terrible' and none of them were lizards, the name stuck and eventually became a household word.
Making A Liar Out Of God
Ham then states that since dinosaurs were created on day 6 and Adam and Eve were also created on the same day, to Ham, it means with complete 100% certainty, for sure that it is all an absolute, blatant lie when he says that people once lived with dinosaurs because, to him, God, whom Ham claims doesn't lie while rendering Him into the biggest liar of all time, tells us in His Word that land animals and man were all created on the 6th day of Creation. Never mind what the Bible really said about the 6th Day. Never mind the fossil record revealing not a single trace of evidnece for this false sense of certainty - for sure. There is not a single trace of human remains found alongside dinosaur remains and there's not a single trace of dinosaurs whether dead or alive found, mentioned, and recorded in all records of history whether coming from archaeological records or what not. Thus, meaning with 100% certainty - for sure - that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago long before there were any humans on earth and died out long before humans appeared. Therefore it is completely foolish to rely on ancient text as well as myths and legends to explain dinosaurs and other subjects completely unheard of in ancient times.
This is one of the purest examples of Ham's complete lack knowledge about dinosaurs, biblical literature, science, and prehistory based on physical evidence. Ham claims that God does not lie, yet is rended to be the biggest liar of all time when Ham and other creationists claims that He allegedly did this according to His Word while hiding the fact that He only did the exact opposite! How can he claim that God doesn't lie, yet proves to people one and for all that He is? And invokes Him and certain verses in the Bible like Numbers 23:19 to help justify their lies? When Ham does this, he is really blaspheming God along with His Word and integrity.
Ham Lies About When was Earth Created
Pages 12 and 13: The 2 kids are observing Adam and Eve tending to 4 anatomically incorrect dinosaurs, Megalosaurus, Heterodontosaurus, Scutellosaurus and Iguanodon. On page 13, there is Eve in the tree feeding a fruit to a Scutellosaurus, who is seen up in the tree bearing 3 digit fingers on each hand unlike the real life Scutellosaurus who has a beaked mouth, 5 digit fingers on each hand and is a bipedal ground dweller, while Adam watches from below holding a clutch of berries in his hand as shown in the back cover of the book. Only to be accompanied by a flock of modern birds flying past a Iguanodon (with wrongful digit arrangements) browsing, a Megalosaurus walking into the scene, and a Heterodontosaurus eating some modern fruit growing on a tree (The real one never saw or ate such fruit.).
On page 12, Ham asserts that the world was created 6,000 years ago, which means the world must have been created around 4000 BC. He claims this just by assuming that if you can add up all the dates of the genealogy life spans as shown in Genesis and dates of events that are shown throughout the Bible, then you will come up with the age of the earth and the universe to be about 6,000 years old. Never mind the actual history of the earth that spans 4.6 billion years based on physical evidence and never mind the fact that the date and the events of the Bible appear to be out of order. Using genealogies, which may have gaps in them and eventful dates in the Bible, which are out of order in many cases, to calculate the age of the earth and the universe while ignoring physical evidence of history beyond 6,000 years just don't add up. Scientific evidence clearly tells us that the earth is 4.6 billion years old and that the universe is between 15-20 billion years old and that life on earth first appeared about 3.5 billion years old. We all live in a very ancient earth in a very ancient universe and yet Ham wants us to believe and accept that the earth was created at the same time as these events that took place 6,000 years ago during the time of the Egyptian Predynastic period and the building of Stonehenge!
Food for thought: “To refute the young earth myth, look to the pyramids of Egypt!”
A So-Called Different and Distorted View
Ham on page 13, claims this is a different view — albeit: a false view of history than the one we usually see on television, read in newspaper, or hear in almost all school (All throughout their literature and media, Creationists, especially Ham, would sleazily brand all their falsehoods as "God's Word" while branding everything else as "human opinions" which all young earth claims are exactly what creationists claim about everything else outside their idiocy, hands down. Young earth creationism is made up of nothing more than blatant lies and made-up stories.). Ham claims the idea of dinosaurs living millions of years ago is all a lie (Since when?). He believes he has reasons to believe it to be so while hiding the fact that he has none. Scientific evidence, through high, accurate dating methods, clearly tells us that the idea of dinosaurs living millions of years ago is true. Ham, having no reasons to believe what he believes in, uses weasel words to state that when we "believe" (or must we believe?) Ham's God, then the [sic] truth is that dinosaurs and people first came into existence only thousands of years ago. It's anything but truth and Ham knows it. God never, ever told us that life first came to existence together thousands of years ago through evidence and the Bible. Otherwise we would have a huge overcrowded world. This idea is nothing more than an inventive, blasphemous tall tale made up by the likes of Ham, who distort the Bible for their own purpose and would rather be ignorant than be someone who has an understanding heart and mind. God was not there seeing to the creation of dinosaurs and man to live side by side in reality despite Ham's lying assertions.
Dinosaurs as "Dragons"
Dinosaurs, according to Ham, on pages 14 and 15 were once called dragons in the King James Bible that was first published in 1611 before they were called 'dinosaurs' in 1841. As bull-headed and ignorant as he is, he doesn't really want to know that the word "dragon" predates the King James Bible. More on this in a moment. To Ham, dinosaurs and dragons are one and the same and the dragons of the Bible are actually dinosaurs that people saw in God's Word, which is a outright lie. The word 'dragon' is not a word invented by King James when he translated the famous version of the Bible. The word 'dragon' in the KJV Bible is nothing more than mistranslations of bible verses that involves wolves, whales, jackals, and above all snakes. The word 'dragon' derives from the Greek word 'drakon', which means 'snake' or 'serpent'. All of the ancient literature tells of dragons to have snake-like bodies, bat or bird wings in most cases, about 3 rows of sharp knife like teeth, a fiery breath, a poisonous bite, woman's breasts, impenetrable scales with only one small week point on it and that's usually either under the wing or underneath its belly and a strong lust for gold. Dinosaurts are not dragons - they're completely far from it!
Creationists, like Ham, reasons stupidly that since these stories, including ones mentioned below, are about real people, like St. George, and real places, such as China, then these dragons stories, which feature real people and real countries, must be real while shunning away the fact that these are in fact made believe stories thrown in there to embellish the stories about real people in real places to make the heroes and the places they come from seem more important than they really are and to make the stories more exciting and entertaining along the way.
Dragon legends are not Dinosaur sightings that became embellished over time when spread through word of mouth and writings. They are modern made fabrications creationists made up by taking dragon tales out of context and change, distort, and twist them around to make them fit in with their beliefs while throwing out the real parts of the tale that clearly tells the creationists that what the people saw in the stories are not dinosaurs at all.
When translated correctly, these verses mentioned on page 14 is actually referring to wolves, jackals, and snakes, not dinosaurs or dragons. Dinosaurs are everything dragons are not and vice versa. Only in Ham's brainwashing, fantasy world is this the case. According to the fabricated stories of dragons made up by creationists on page 14, they were often bred by the Chinese in many legends, featured in old ancient books like the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles, and on page 15, the kids, shown from behind a hill, are witnessing one dinosaur being killed by a knight claimed to be known as St. George. The stories are nothing more than direct fabrications Ham and others like him have all made them up while ignoring the reality of finding no Kentrosaur fossils in China and no Spinosaurids being killed by medieval knights.
Sightings of Celestrial Lights, Not Dinosaurs
In reality, there is only one account of dragons told in that ancient history book. And that is in the AD 793 account, where in it says that the people were forewarned of something horrible that's coming for them and were all terrified by signs in the air of immense sheets of light, whirlwinds and fiery dragons flying across the firmament.
This is nothing more than a direct fabrication of ancient sightings of shooting stars, comets, meteor showers, and other forms of lights sighted by the ancient people who didn't know what they were. So, they regard them as "dragons" streaking across the sky, giving them a very bad omen of what's to come that could spell trouble for the people living in the area where the lights in the sky were seen.
Speaking of storms, back then it is believed that dragons were the ones responsible for creating storms, something dinosaurs could never do. Nowhere does it say anything at all about the dragons' descriptions fitting the dinosaurs because there is none found there! So obvious is Ham's ignorance. He likely never looked at the book enough to know if what he said is the case, which it isn't. If he did, he'll just simply fabricate the events and forget about the fact that this book, whether fabricated or not, still fails to explain how come we are not finding fossil remains of dinosaurs mixed with the remains of humans in the fossil record. By the way, using ancient writings as proofs and evidences of dinosaurs being dragons that people meet, fought, and kill is the absolute worst thing you can do to further science. They are all nothing more than made up fabrications and distortions creationists made up to convince the gullible of their false beliefs.
The Chinese may have bred alligators, not dinosaurs, and has worshiped them as gods too. No descriptions of Chinese dragons match that of dinosaurs. Unlike dinosaurs, Chinese dragons, as shown here, have long coiling snaky bodies, wolf-like heads, deer like antlers, whiskers, a mane-like frill, have been known to create storms, and fly in the sky even though they have no wings and swim in the sea even though they don't have flippers. Unlike the dragons of Europe, Chinese dragons are very friendly, good natured, and have known to shower good blessings upon the people. This led the Chinese people into worshiping them as gods, not leading them around by a nose ring like cattle as depicted in the picture on page 14. There is no doubt that Ham and the Snellenbergers borrowed all of what is illustrated on pages 14 and 42 from James Gurney's fantasy book Dinotopia, where it depicts dinosaurs with spikes and horns wearing special jewelry coverings on them. The series also depicts them being seen pulling wagons and carry heavy loads and people all throughout the book, too. This is the direct result of creationists borrowing from sci-fi fantasy and paraphernalia, pop cultural arts, and movie genre involving dinosaurs.
The Truth About Ham's Caricature of Baryonyx and St. George
The St. George and the dragon tale may have been a Christianized version of a Greek myth that tells of Perseus who killed a dragon to save Andromeda from being eaten by it. The dragon in both versions the story have descriptions that never match that of Baryonyx or any other kind of dinosaur.
The dragon in the tale is described to have wings of a bat and deadly poisonous breath. Baryonyx never, ever had bat-like wings, nor did it had wolf like ears, a coiling arrow pointed tail, a lizard body, a fiery breath, a forked tongue, and a serpentine body. The dragon St. George slain was actually a Heraldic Dragon, a classic example of what a dragon is like with a narrow, arrow head, glowing eyes, a barbed tail, forked tongue, long, narrow, pointed ears, a fiery breath, frilly spines along it's neck, back, and tail, 4 or 2 limbs, and a lizard like body. The dragon, as shown in authentic classic tale, is pictured as a small size creature with just 2 or 4 limbs, sometimes shown to have women's breasts, and a pair of bat or bird-like wings jutting from its serpentine body. Creationists have deliberately omitted those features when they distort the tale upon the false assumption that since St. George and the dragon is an English tale and the remains of Baryonyx that was found in 1983 was located in the same country where the famous story of St. George and the dragon are said to take place, then Baryonyx must be the dragon that St. George have killed, right? Wrong! Baryonyx was a primitive Spinosaurid who lived 120 million years ago during the early Cretaceous Period in what is now England, long before St. George and all of the rest of the human race was ever been born.
Kentrosaurus was a Stegosaurid who lived during the late Jurassic Period 150 million years ago in what is now Africa, not China.
More of Ham's Pseudo-Dragons
On page 16 and 17, the kids is shown observing fictional versions of the Mesozoic reptiles in the air as well as in the sea. On page 16, there is a Plesiosaurus holding seaweed in its mouth and swimming with dolphins. Underneath the sea, there is a Kronosaurus swimming with various types of modern fish and lobsters. Way above the pages there are large flocks of modern sea birds flying above the heads of the marine reptiles. Below them flew 3 pterosaurs. Two above the cliff and one just above the water. On page 16, Ham shoehorns the contemporaries of dinosaurs into the bible by stating that (to him) the verses in the Bible shown above in the paragraph tells about sea dragons being referred to the marine reptiles of the Mesozoic era while being ignorant of the fact that these verses, when put in context, are actually are all metaphoric and have something to do with Leviathan, a 7 headed snake like monster of Jewish folklore and none to do with the Mesozoic marine reptiles.
Ham also claims that the Bible even talks about pterosaurs as shown in Isaiah 30:6. Problem with that logic is that pterosaurs don't have snake-like bodies and the verse in the Bible likely refers to limbless flying snakes such as the mythical Amphiteres, snakes with no limbs and bird-like wings, and/or the paradise tree snake and/or mambas that lunged forward repeatedly to strike at their foes and their prey. Ham then claims that the marine reptiles and the pterosaurs were both created on the 5th day of Creation while they in reality appeared at the same time as the dinosaurs about 225 million years ago. He thinks that 'whales' in the Bible translate as dragons or sea reptiles and that 'fowl' in the Bible are not necessary translated as birds, but as anything that flies, including pterosaurs, in the air. What he thinks is wrong. The word 'fowl' does mean 'bird' and it is used to describe only birds, not bats or pterosaurs. Pterosaurs don't have feathers and are not birds. They have hair and a much different anatomy than birds, so they are not to be included in the fowl category. The word in Hebrew does translate as 'snakes' or 'sea monsters' but it's not referring to the Mesozoic marine reptiles despite what Ham falsely assumes. Marine reptiles and pterosaurs have all died out along with the non-avian dinosaurs, so no one ever saw them alive.
Studying The Bible Correctly
By studying God's Word carefully, the real way with verses studied and read in full context, we would find that the Bible clearly neutral on the subject of science, evolution, and dinosaurs and tells nothing of what Ham claims about those three subjects. Creationism is a mockery of science. A bad apple among the good that will spoil the whole bunch unless it is removed! People, especially Christians, don't need to hear Ham's stupid lies, nor his faulty out-of-context interpretations and distortions of the Bible, nor buy into his false declarations about his views of the Bible being the one and only view that's accurate and correct. Even studying the Bible and learning about God's Word won't help in justifying such things. In this case, God's word is actually Ham's word that's everything but pure!
A Imaginary Scenario
On page 19, there is a scene where 2 dinosaurs, 1 mammal-like reptile, and 2 pterosaurs; an anatomically incorrect, naked skinned Deinonychus, incorrectly showing 4 fingers on each hand instead of 3 and a wrongly arranged sickle clawed toe on each two toed foot, wrongly eating fruit, a Ceratosaurus wrongly eating palm leaves, a gorilla, 2 spider monkeys, and an anatomically incorrect hairless, perching Anurognathus wrongly feasting on fruit as Eve busy themselves feeding another Anurognathus fruit, which is the wrong kind of food for this pterosaur to give (The real Anurognathus actually ate insects.), and Adam watching a gorilla feasting on plant stalks. In the foreground on the lower left hand corner of the page, there is a Estemmenosuchus standing in front of a bush. This what is shown on the page is make-believe.
Ham's Ignorance Of Nephesh's Real Meaning
On page 18 and 19, there is that old all-herbivore myth were Ham asserts that everyone, including dinosaurs were all vegetarians. He claims that God have order all of the animals and people to eat plants. He's ignorant of the fact that this verse in Genesis 1:29-31 is really just a provision; to provide man and animals with plants and fruit to eat for food, not a commandment. Ham claims there were no meat-eaters back then. Instead, there were only plant eaters around at the very beginning. When confronted with the fact that when plants do die when they get eaten, Ham only denies it by stating that plants don't die the same way animals do because they do not have what the Hebrew word is called 'nephesh,' or 'nepheshim' (plural) meaning "spirit" or “soul” The word actually is used throughout the Bible to primarily describe humans who are the only creatures to have a soul or a spirit in them. But to Ham, the word nephesh means that only people and animals have souls found inside their bodies, not plants.
No Different Than Other Religions
This sounds like what is being echoed in many pagan religions throughout the world, especially in Native American religions where animals are worshiped as gods by the people who believed in the animals to have spirits in them as well as humans. Young earth creationism is no different than all other pagan religions that embraces the animal spirit belief. What young earth creationism teaches about souls and spirits directly contradicts the Bible when it said that only humans have souls in them which God gave when He created them in his own image. Animals, on the other hand, don't.
Plants Do Die!
The vegan claim is unfounded. It neither have merit, nor foundation and is entirely invented by the creationists who falsely reasons that the so-called loving, merciful God would have never intended on having animals and people kill each other and die when he put them on Earth on days 5 and 6 of Creation Week and afterwords, while at the same time ignoring the verses in the Bible that tells of God's sincere intentions for people and animals to do just that (Exodus 11:5 is one of the best examples of this.). Ham's claim is all flawed in every way. As shown here on this page, plants DO die. YECs, especially Ham, deliberately ignores the fact that plants are breathing creatures that do die and are compared with the deaths of humans in many verse in both the Old and the New Testaments of the Bible like this one for example,
"A voice says, "Call out." Then he answered, "What shall I call out?" All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”(Isaiah 40:6-8)
This means there was death occurring in Eden before the Fall after all. Plants are alive! They are living beings like animals and people! They eat, they drink, they breath through their stomata, they grow, they have genders, they reproduce, and they DO die! What does Ham think they are, plastic? The only things in the world that does NOT have a nephesh or nepheshim (plural) in them is animals, plants, and rocks. Plain and simple. His idea of plants never dying is one of his usual idiotic lies he gives out from time to time.
The word nephesh according to Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary literally means “a breathing creature.” Even plants breathe although they don’t breath the same way humans and animals breathe. Instead of lungs or gills, plants breathe through stomata, tiny holes underneath the leaves that takes in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen as well as absorb light during the process of photosynthesis which occurs during the daylight hours. They also do the opposite during the process of respiration which occurs both day and night. During respiration, the plant takes in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. Both process is done through the stomata, the “nose” of the plant. So, you might say that plants were the first nephesh creatures God has ever made before He created 5 more nephesh creatures, fish, birds, wild and tame animals, and man. All organisms are nephesh creatures because they all breathe the air through lungs, gills, or stomata.
The word nephesh also means “a spirit”, too which only humans have in them. Nearly every part of the Bible that has the word nephesh in them refers only to humans– spiritual beings created by God who gave mankind a soul. Creationists asserts that plants are not alive in a sense because they don’t have a spirit or a nephesh in them. Neither do animals have a nephesh in them, but do the creationists care? Nope. They rather ignore the fact that throughout the Bible the word nephesh is used to describe only humans, who are the only beings that possess nephesh in them. This is something that was given exclusively to them by God. Neither animals, nor plants have nepheshim (plural) in them. Obviously this is all imagined up to compromise pagan beliefs that says animals have what the webmaster calls “a spirit, consciousness or soul” and to ignore the fact that most Christians believe that only humans have souls in them, not animals and definitely not plants.
Here's another question: If the supposed commandment of God was for the animals that lived on dry land, birds, and humans, then what did the sea animals that lived in the water had to eat if there was no death occurring before the fall? According to Ham in his other idiot book The Great Dinosaur Mystery Solved!, only seaweed, kelp, and algae like the Plesiosaurus is doing on page 16, which is just as unfounded, bad, outlandish, and laughable as the dinosaur/dragon claim! Seaweed, kelp, and algae is highly poor in nutrition and can make Plesiosaurus and other marine reptiles real sick even die from indigestion of those plants because their stomachs are not made for digesting plant matter. Just like all plants, if seaweed, kelp, and algae gets eaten, they die. If all animals eat plants, then the whole plant kingdom will face extinction, never to be given a chance to survive. Then what will the animals, fish, and people eat? Rocks? What a waste! A wasteful resource and features such as sharp, thick, deep rooted, homodontical teeth, eyes that see forward, stomach for only red food, and strong legs for running faster to chase their meals God has made, huh? Face it! If there ever was no death before the fall and animals and people are to eat things that do not have nephesh or nepheshim in them, let them eat rocks!
This, what Ham advocates, is all part of his efforts to emotionally charge his audience; a death tautology to arouse people's emotion and trick them into siding with these religious zealots without a second thought on what YECism is really all about.
Pages 20 and 21: This is the old sharp-tooth-don't-equal-meat-eater myth. Ham just simply invoked certain animals like the panda and the marine iguana to futilely prove that just because an animal has sharp teeth don't mean it's a meat eater. It's exactly no different as if to say that just because an animal has blunt teeth doesn't mean it's a plant eater (i.e. Mice, rats, the likes of Placodus who uses its blunt teeth to crush and eat shellfish, and even humans.). The unfounded claim is nothing more than an appeal to the reader's ignorance of the real functions and the structures of animal teeth and how the animals used them to eat their food. Invoking those flimsy flat kitchen knives that rust, bends, wears out, and needs sharpening from time to time won't help in justifying Ham's myth ever. Then, Ham makes more emotionally charged remarks by telling the reader of the so-called the saddest day ever in history which of course he referring to the Fall of Man.
Appeals To Emotion
Pages 22 and 23 is all about a major appeal to emotion. Yes, the crying, the tearing eyes, the old violin playing melancholy in the background, that's what the demagogue does as part of a tactic to play around with people's emotions and get people to follow him and his teachings blindly not knowing of the truth behind it. Ham says that Adam and Eve disobeyed God when they listened to the snake and ate the forbidden fruit. This is what Ham says to be the saddest day in all the universe according his book. Tell that to those who were traumatized and victimized by this dramatic event and they will tell you totally different of what is really the saddest day in all of the universe.
Page 23: Here's the scene showing Adam and Eve trying out the forbidden fruit as the kids and a 4 legged snake with horns on its head, which it's really the Devil himself in disguise, watched while in the background, the dinosaurs and the other animals are engaging in peaceful, loving, activities unaware of what's going on in front of them.
What Kind of Death?
Right behind the foliage on pages 24 and 25, the kids saw Adam and Eve, feeling a sense of regret, were given clothes to wear from an animal skin coming from an animal who has its bloodshed and gets sent away from the Garden of Eden just after they ate the forbidden fruit. More emotional pleadings from Ham who claim that death came to the world through these 2 people. He insists that it is physical death that Adam and Eve brought into the world as told in Romans 5:12. He actually does not want his followers to know that this verse actually refers to a death that's spiritual, not physical, and be ignorant of the other verses of the Bible that does have ties in with the verses in Romans that confirms the verses to imply a spiritual death, not physical (i.e. Romans 8:10). Ham preaches by saying that the sin that Adam and Eve has committed effected everything, plants, animals, people, dinosaurs, everything. Really? How!? How can innocent plants and animals be in sin while in fact it is really the 3 guilty ones, Adam, Eve, and the Snake who were the only ones involved with the crime? Ham claims that the reason that one animal had to be killed to supply man with clothing so that he will know that there will be death in this word from now on. False. This unfounded claim is entirely made up out of total ignorance of the bible being totally silent on how did God really gave Adam and Eve clothes to wear. God could've killed the animals to provide Adam and Eve clothing to wear, but otherwise, God must have made the clothes to appear on Adam and Eve's body out of nowhere the same way God made everything to appear out of nowhere during the 6 days of Creation, all without having to kill an animal for it. What Ham assumes about clothing is not the real reason why God did it. He did it just to clothe the couple because they were hiding from God and doesn't want Him to see their nakedness.
Ham's idiocy on Animal Sacrifice
Ham then brings on the old crackpot drivel about the animals not being able to take away the sin from the human race because we are not connected with the animals as 'evolutionists,' an ad hoc invention to be explained later, teaches us (or so Ham asserts.). If what Ham claims to be so, then why did God, during Old Testament Times, established the ritual of animal sacrifices to take the sins away from His people to begin with? Such idiocy on Ham's part.
And look how Ham contradicts this by stating that another explanation to animal sacrifices is that this is a picturesque view of what Christ will do when he comes to earth to save us from our sins. This has nothing to do with dinosaurs, though.
Humans, not animals!
On 26 and 27, the teens looked on in horror at what they saw. The murder of Abel by Cain, wolves chasing sheep, 3 pretend dinosaurs in Ham's mythic world featuring a Protoceratops fighting a anatomically incorrect naked Velociraptor to protect her eggs and young and a naked anatomically incorrect Oviraptor stealing eggs from a nest. In reality, these 3 dinosaurs lived 80 million years ago in what is now Mongolia. None of them ever lived in the Middle East. So the scenario depicting 3 dinosaurs alongside the Cain and Abel murder scene, 2 kids in the background, 2 sacrificial altars, wolves chasing sheep, the thorn and thistle plants dotting the landscape is entirely fictional. Another emotional pleading by Ham, who refuse to acknowledge the verse in I Corinthians 15:22 KJV that says “Through Adam, all have to die, but even so in Christ shall all be made alive,” has only to do with humans and zero to do with animals. When the verse is read in full context, it reads that through Adam, all humans, not animals died, but through Christ, the whole human race, not animals, will all be made alive again when Christ comes back to Earth in the near future to destroy all His enemies and establish His Eternal Kingdom.
When God cursed the ground, what He really did is curse the land Adam had to lived and work on to get food for himself, not the entire earth. Here's reference to this.
