Circular Reasoning
Circular reasoning is the next bolus of nonsense Ham disgorges on pages 12-13 where he asserts that science cannot ultimately answer questions about the unobservable and unreported past. Neither can creationists who only make up lies and preached about a scenario that never existed. Ham then shines his ignorance and falsely declares evolution to be not science.
"Neither is Creation," Ham says "it's a belief about the past that's non-existent, yet based on our distorted record of the bible (My translating response in italics)."
Ham blasphemously claims that God who never tells a lie (Yet, is made a liar out of by the likes of Ham) has put it all in His Holy Word, which He didn't. Whenever Ham make such remarks like that, he's really testing God's integrity by saying that God did this while in fact He didn't. That's blasphemy.
He never bothered to put into the Bible everything Ham claims it's in. Rather He made the book to tell the people how to get to Heaven and how to live righteous holy life. The book also shows examples of those who were of great faith who did much to please God despite the screw-ups they made in their lives and letting the people know that God is our maker and in control of everything.
Ham, The Bigot
The next paragraph shows bigoted Ham boasting about the Bible by branding it as "the history book of the universe" in bold capitol letters. Any remark like that just comes to show that young earth extremism point of view of the bible is an act of bibliolatry— the worship of the bible. Any Muslim, Buddhist, Hindi, and Jew would say the exact same thing about their religious writings. It's just like saying, "The Bible is God!" out of arrogance and disregard for everything else in literature. Ham has no regard to what God really says in His Word about anything that contradicts his idiocy. He just puts him in a box and make Him comply to his ways of ignorance.
The Ways of Pinky And The Brain
Ham on page 13 claims that there are two ways of thinking. He's right— the Pinky way and the Brain way.
The Pinky way is the stupid, insane, and ignorant way, in which creationism is a part of. The Brain way is the smart way, which science, reason, reality, and rationality is a part of. Both ways are named after Pinky and the Brain, two lab rats of The Animaniacs fame.
Unfortunately, this is not what Ham is referring to here. He's talking about his own view of thinking (denial and ignorance) in which he cloaks it as The Christian worldview in large capitol letters and the secular thinking (reality based on physical evidence) also in large capitol letters. He thinks evolution is of the secular worldview and his pathetic dogma is the Christian worldview while the truth is the other way around.
Creationism is not a Christian worldview, but a form of religious extremism made up only of a bunch of crazy, stupid lies, arguments, and demagogic rants not affiliated with any Christian dogma, worldview, doctrine, and teachings, filled with nothing but bigotry, hatred, lies, and deceit no different than the crazy, stupid arguments and demagogic rants filled with bigotry, hatred, lies, and deceit uttered by Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
According to Ham,
"Ultimately, there are only two ways of thinking: starting with the revelation from God (the Bible) as foundational to all thinking (including biology, history, and geology), resulting in a Christian worldview; or starting with man’s beliefs (for example, the evolutionary story) as foundational to all thinking, resulting in a secular worldview.”
Which translates to,
“Ultimately, there are only two ways of thinking: starting with the revelation from myself as foundational to all thinking (including biology, history, and geology), resulting in my worldview ; or starting with man's acceptance (for example, the evolutionary evidence) that don't accept what I teach as foundational to all thinking, resulting in a realistic worldview.”
It all translates to "It's either my way or the highway!" The kind of attitude no different than the attitudes of so many pastors who are abusive and destructive to anyone who attends his/her church. Manipulative, controlling, and downright perverted, these pastors will do whatever it takes to keep their followers in line, including death threats, condemnations to Hell if one leaves his church, wear jewelry, jeans, make-up, etc, forcing even children to bow to his ways and have sex with them, forcing their husbands to beat their wives and children to submission, and so on. Ham is such a pastor. Give him a chance and he will become so destructive that no one, not even his own cronies, will ever follow his ways no matter how severe his threats are.
He then went on to claim,
“Most Christians have been indoctrinated through the media and education system to think in a secular way. They tend to take secular thinking to the Bible, instead of using the Bible to build their thinking.”
Which translates to,
“Most Christians have been convinced through the media and education system to think in a realistic way. They tend to take 'realistic ' thinking to the Bible, instead of using what I teach to build their thinking.”
This accusation has hypocrisy written all over it. Being such an over-religious zealot, Ham shows no shame in treating anything outside his made-up dogma as a “secularized anti-Christian religion” without giving himself a second thought to know that the only thing that really does indoctrinate through the media and educational system to think in a secular way is creationism itself. Especially after seeing what creationists tell them about science, history, etc. is all a lie, forcing them to question their Christian beliefs and go through a spiritual crisis— all because of what creationists have done to them.
Knowledge vs Ignorance
Now, look at the 2 verses Ham on page 14 is invoking to justify his tripe,
The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7) and “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).
And the fear of an abusive pastor (like Ham) is the beginning of ignorance and the fear of an abusive pastor (like Ham) is the beginning of destruction. Quoting those 2 Bible verses, Ham in the conclusion of the segment wants the reader to believe,
“If one begins with an evolutionary view of history (for which there were no witnesses or written record), then this way of thinking will be used to explain the evidence that exists in the present. Thus, we have the evolutionary explanation for dinosaurs above. But if one begins with the biblical view of history from the written record of an eyewitness (God) to all events of history, then a totally different way of thinking, based on this, will be used to explain the same evidence. Thus, we have the biblical explanation given above.”
Which all translates to,
“If one begins with a reality view of history (for which there are factual evidence from the fossil, historical, and archaeological records ), then this way of thinking will be used to explain the evidence that exists in the present. Thus, we have the real explanation for dinosaurs above. But if one begins with the ignorant view of history from the written record of a false eyewitness (me) to all events of history, then a totally different way of thinking, based on this, will be used to explain the same evidence. Thus, we have the false explanation given above.”
If one really does obtain rightful knowledge of Bible and science, then it will be discovered how Ham blasphemes God by calling him a untrustworthy liar of a fraud despite his constant claims about Him being a God who's [sic] "perfect and never lies."
What the media is doing is educating them on evolution and how it works. It's doing nothing to indoctrinate them into secularism. Creation does all the indoctrination into secularism through the very same media science is using to educate the people whether is using Photoshop to distort images or building animatronic pseudo-dinosaurs for their crackhouses.
Ham proselytizes Christians into embracing pure ignorance while misleading them into believing that if you accept evolution, then you have accepted yourself into a way of thinking based on a view that has no eyewitnesses and no written record. This is exactly what Creation is— a view that has no eyewitnesses, no written record, and above all no evidence.
Evolution is all about "evidence." Pure, undeniable, observable evidence shown here which creationists like Ham deliberately demands all Christians to deny. While creationists constantly rant about evolution never being observed, tested, falsified, and recorded in action, scientists have shown us time and time again that evolution does the exact opposite of what creationists claim it don't and keeps a real extensive archive of countless records of evolution in action on a day to day bases. Many examples of this are shown here.
The next question asks, "Which view is right?" The actual answer is neither. None of them are right because these two supposed "worldviews" are all empty words Ham parades in his crackhouse on a daily bases.
One of the empty words Ham uses to deceive Christians is the claim about many Christians don't know how to deal with dinosaurs, while ignoring the fact that they do. Christians should have no problems dealing with dinosaurs. But unfortunately, the only one that do see problems with dinosaurs is Ham and the other religious zealots who believe the 6,000 year lie. To deal with this, they make up lies and distortions and parade them as "truth."
Death Fallacy
Whether we like it or not, death is a necessary part of life. But creationists like Ham sees it as an evil thing. Ham claim that if the Bible teaches that there was no death of animals and people before the fall, then this will effect the way they would interpret fossils. The Bible, in reality, teach no such thing. In fact the verses about death before the Fall apply only to the human race, not plants and animals. If what Ham claims would be the case, then they would have all ate the fruit that came from the Tree of Life. But unfortunately, that didn't happen.
When God planted the Garden of Eden for Adam to live in, He put in it 2 trees, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge. Adam can eat the fruit coming from the Tree of Life. If he did, then he'll live forever and no death will ever occurred. But sadly, Adam ate from the Tree of Knowledge and was banish from Eden as the result of this.
Like all creationists, Ham states that there was no death, bloodshed, disease, or suffering before sin, while ignoring the fact that there were death, bloodshed, and suffering among plants before the fall. Believe it or not, plants do have blood. Other than sap, some plants has a special type of blood called leghemoglobin which is a type of blood protein found in leguminous plants such as soybeans and lentils. And if there were no disease before sin then, why did God created the things needed to fight back diseases such as white blood cells and oranges? It would be useless to have such created features if disease and illness doesn't exist. If confronted with such question like that, creationists would just say that God put them there because He knew they will have them when the Fall occurred. Did God know of this, Ham or this is just your way of testing God? I think creationists are deliberately putting God to the test when they made such remarks like that. It's just comes to show how creationists are demonizing God in every way possible by testing his integrity by making such faulty statements as "God has intended to have all beings live in peace, eating only plants and fruit, and yet give them features that would set all of them up for the Fall and do the things God did not want them to do to begin with." If that's not testing God, then I don't know what it is.
If one approaches Genesis to Revelation consistently, interpreting Scripture with Scripture in full context, then death and bloodshed in a spiritual sense comes just after Adam ate the apple and sin arrives to affect all mankind, not animals. Especially when animals can't think and reason the way humans do. Only man is affected by the curse of sin, not the earth, not the universe, and definitely not the animal and plant kingdom. Understandably, most Christians believe that physical death also occurred after Adam sinned, but this does nothing to undermined the fact that death, decay, and decomposition is a necessary part of life, needed for renewal of life and help plants, fungus, and certain forms of invertebrates that feed on decaying matter to help flourish and grow plants needed to sustain the lives of animals and people who feed on them. So death is needed to maintain a very healthy ecosystem even before Adam sinned or else the world will be an highly overcrowded, unpleasant place.
Having animal death, even ancient bones littering the ground, does nothing to undermine the gospel, nor the Atonement one bit. Having animals and plants die especially before Adam sinned to support, maintain, and renewal life doesn't stop God from shedding animal blood just so he can make skinned garments for Adam and Eve to wear and show them a precursor of what's to come so many years later when Christ came to Earth and died on the cross for all humans to experience spiritual renewal the same way life experience renewal through normal, natural death. Just as plants and animals die naturally to support and renew physical life, Jesus had to come to Earth and die to support and renew spiritual life. If Jesus were to die to only take away physical life, then Christ would have been a total failure; physical death will still be around after all it's said and done.
It's obvious extremists like Ham made up this undermining atonement tripe after watching too many science fiction films and TV shows depicting dinosaurs and primitive people constantly at each others' throats along with engaging in heavily mincing Bible words, language, morality, deed, and history to fit their false perception of what the Bible should be all about. Never mind the real lifestyle of the dinosaurs no one will ever see that greatly contradicts the concept of dinosaurs being warring machines as depicted in so many science fiction films, books, and other forms of paraphernalia. In his ignorance, Ham doesn't want anyone to know that humans is well know to behave worse than animals and be far more destructive than any animal known past and present. No other animal in the world deserves to be call a creature of destruction than man himself who goes about destroying in a matter of minutes everything that otherwise took billions of years for God to form, build, and create.
Existence of Dinosaurs
Page 15 shows another question. "How do we know dinosaurs ever existed?" Because scientists have found their bones, eggs, footprints, and other fossils of them that clearly confirms their existence. That's why. Ham, obviously made this one up in response to a rare, yet blasphemous statement made by a few people who claims dinosaurs are non-existent. God or the Devil must have put the fossils in the ground to either test men's faith or deceive them. Ham, the liar, states that even though scientists can describe many different types of dinosaurs inside and out, there doesn't appear to be any consistent definition as to what it is and what is not a dinosaur. Greatest lie in a third degree made up out of ignorance of scientists being quite able to tell which is a dinosaur and which is not a dinosaur without a problem. The identification of Dinosaurs based on the following:
Characteristics of Dinosaurs
- They belong to a large group of reptiles called Archosaurs.
- They developed from Archosaurian ancestors such as Euparkeria and Ornithosuchus.
- Except birds, all dinosaurs have died out 65 million years ago after reigning for over 150 million years in a time period known as the Mesozoic Era. Birds are the only group of dinosaurs to have ever lived with man.
- They have a fully erect posture.
- They are Diapsids, reptiles with a pair of holes on each side of the skull near the back.
- Their structure is more of birds than reptiles.
Dating Denial
More lies and stupidity came out of the mouth of Ham when he denies the existence of radioisotopes in some fossils which helps scientists to accurately date fossils. Mockingly he claims that scientists have never found any labels on the bones they dug up, telling them how old are the fossils while being ignorant of the fossils having radioisotopes in them. This ad hoc assertion is made up out of mockery of dating methods used to date fossils with great accuracy, including the method of dating radioisotopes. He does this to give the reader the false impression of scientists not finding labels on fossils the same way one finds price tag labels in a grocery store because he simply find dating methods, which can accurately date fossils to be millions, even billions of years old in reality, way too much for him or anyone else to comprehend— an example of how creationists have a strong desire to make evolutionists be wrong in everything while hiding their own wrongdoing from the public.
He claims scientists used "indirect" (in large capitol words again) dating methods that cannot be trusted while creationists use "indirect" Bible verses, statements, declarations, rants, and distortions that cannot be trusted themselves to further their lies in sharp contrast to scientists who modified and improved dating methods over the years to give them the most accurate age of any fossil. There is a complete list of dating methods used by scientists (below) to help date fossils and rocks accurately as well as an article refuting YEC's falsehood claim about the untrustworthiness of the dating method.

Soft Fossil fallacy
Now we get to the falsehood about Mary Schweitzer, a paleontologist who discovers a T.rex fossil with red blood cells inside of the bones, leading the YECs to think that the bones of the T.rex is "fresh" while in fact they are not. On page 16, using quote mining from a now defunct magazine called Earth , Ham misleads the reader into thinking that they have discover red blood cells in the T.rex fossil, while in fact they did not. To view the truth behind the alleged fresh fossils of T.rex read this Dino Blood and the Young Earth article found on John Stear's No Answers in Genesis website.
Believe it or not, the YEC's own claims about the fossil actually predates the March, 2005 discovery of soft tissues found inside of a thigh bone of a T.rex. YECs began to rave over the latest find made by Mary when they first learned about it. To them, it confirms the notion that dinosaurs, other than birds, lived recently and the earth is young. But sorry to say, the soft tissues inside the bone could turn out to be nothing more than slime.
Fresh Fossil Spoilage
Next came the claim about a so-called creation "scientist" (Buddy Davis) who allegedly found "fresh" dinosaur bones, with cartilage still attached to them, in Alaska. Possibly from the Liscomb Formation where lots of fossils of Hadrosaurs and Ceratopsians are found. In reality, Davis most likely have misidentified caribou or other types of deer that have recently died or ice age remains of woolly mammoths and mastodons. They are found buried in permafrost, mud, coal, and shale at the very top layers of the rock formation instead of the Mesozoic layer. This book was made up long before Buddy Davis fakes the expedition to Alaska to find alleged unfossilized dinosaur bones. Brian Switek, the owner of Laelaps, one of the regular blogs I visited, posted an article about this sometime later. Apparently, what he found out after he inquired Ham and his cronies about the bones is not what Davis found in Alaska despite what he claims in his drivel. According to the email response, the bones are turning out to be fossilized remains after all! How dishonest can they all get?
