The Great Dinosaur Mystery Solved Part 9

More of Ham's Moral Idiocy

Ham then states falsely that the foundations of the gospel is all found in Genesis which is incorrect as stated in part 8 of this critique. Ham threatens that if you accept evolution, then you are accepting the unfounded unending prehistoric vanatio filled with millions of years of unending death, suffering, bloodshed, and disease happening before Adam's sin which implies that before Adam's sin everything is so sickly hunky-dory like a fairy tale with sickly smiling animals doing ballet to try to avoid stepping on animals while carnivores wastes their precious traits on plant matter that would otherwise make them sick even die from indigestion.

What Ham advocates is a gross misrepresentation of the phrase “Nature’s red in tooth and claw.”and “survival of the fittest,” which are terms not at all found in Darwin’s literature but are made up by 2 men who publish their work one before and the other after Darwin published his Origins of Species book.

A poet named Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892) coined the phrase “Nature’s red in tooth and claw” in one part of his long poem In Memoriam A.H.H. that was published ten years before Dawin published his Origins of species book in 1859. The poem only express the loss of a friend by the name of Arthur Henry Hallam (which is what A.H.H. stands for) and the term "Nature's Red in Tooth and Claw" in the poem only refers to man, not nature.

An English philosopher named Herbert Spencer (1820-1903), coined the phrase “Survival of the Fittest” and used it for the first time in his 1864 book Principles of Biology to describe economics as well as Biology. Although the term seems to mean "only the fittest organisms will prevail" as applied in Social Darwinism, the term is inconsistent with the actual evolution where the unfit organisms are able to survive while those who seem to be the fittest organisms die off.

Ham also tries to imply various verses in the Bible that deals with death to mean just physical death, while when put in full context and interpreted correctly, the verses actually describe spiritual death which Jesus actually took away from us when He died on the cross two thousand years ago. If he only try to take away physical death and physical death still occurs in this world, then Christ would have been a total failure to us all and no one will get saved. Thus, what Ham and other creationists promotes is totally flawed. One of the petty scare tactics used and invented by creationists to keep people in believing their "thousands of years" lie. Besides, the verses Ham tries to promote his death fallacy only implies to humans, not to the animal kingdom.

Ham's Death Philosophy

None of what Ham promotes is biblical, not even his idiot death philosophy is biblical as well. When confronted with the notion that plants do die when eaten, Ham counters the fact with this crank found on page 84 about plants not being alive because they don't have a nephesh (or spirit) inside of them. Neither do animals, Ham. What difference does it make? Ham, just like on page 47, misuse the term nephesh or nepheshim (plural) while ignoring the fact that the word nephesh is used to describe primarily the human race. All throughout the Bible, the Hebrew word nephesh is only used to describe humans who are the only spiritual creatures ever existed. Only in Genesis, however, does nephesh is used to describe "breathing creatures" like animals, fish, man, and especially plants.

No Attack on the Atonement and The Message of the Cross

On pages 84 in the middle and 85 in the upper part of the page we find that Ham is aware of how people really need Jesus to save them from their sins, so he talks about how in order to humans to be saved from their sins, blood has to be shed by stating,

“After Adam disobeyed God, the Lord clothed Adam and Eve with “coats of skins”. To do this He must have killed and shed the blood of at least one animal.”

Otherwise, He must have made the coats of skins appeared on the bodies of Adam and Eve out of nowhere without having to shed animal blood to do it. The Bible doesn't say that God had to kill an animal to clothe Adam and Eve who didn't die the moment they ate the forbidden fruit. This is something Christian fundamentalists made up to help figure out how did God provide clothing to the first couple and incorporate them into their dogma.

The next part tells about how in order to have redemption and forgiveness of sins, blood must be shed. Here Ham reasons,

“If the shedding of blood occurred before sin, as would have happened if the garden was sitting on a fossil record of dead things millions of years old, then the foundation of the Atonement would be destroyed."

Wrong, Ham! The foundation of the atonement will prevail even when everything's sitting on a fossil bed that's billions of years old. In comparison with the blood shedding of animals through predation and animal sacrifices, in which both did nothing to take the sins away from humans, Christ ultimately became the only one worthy of sacrifice to take away the sins and spiritual death from all mankind, thus making animal sacrifices obsolete. If Christ died to take away physical death and physical death is still prevalent all around, then Christ would have been a total failure.

In every literature of theirs, creationists like Ham would distort Romans 8, including verses 19-22, to explain animal and plant suffering as well as human suffering out of gross ignorance of the passages' true meaning which only refer to Gentiles who have yet to hear the gospel of Christ. When creationists used the word “creation”, they intend to refer to everything God has made concerning the earth and all its inhabitants including all plant and animal kingdoms. But the plant and animal kingdoms, unlike the human kingdom, cannot think and reason the way humans do. They don't have the ability to worship the Lord, nor follow moral principles the way humans do, and can act only on instinct alone. Also, when creationists distort the Romans 8: passage, they intend to ignore the whole context of Romans 8 and other verses in the Bible in which the word “creation” is another word for “creature” and is used to only describe non Christian humans, not animals, not plants, and especially not planet earth itself. Compare the NIV version of Mark 16:15 with the King James Version and then compare the Wycliffe Version of Romans 8::19-22 with the American Standard Version and you'll see what I mean.

Then Ham talks about the New Heaven and a New Earth where sin and curse will be removed and claims if there are animals living in the new world, they will never kill and eat each other and the redeemed people for food. Rich Deem on the other hand has a different outlook on whether there will be animals in the new world or not. And it has to do with the animals' complete lack of souls unlike humans who has them.

Then Ham concludes the segment by claiming,

Thus, the teaching of millions of years of death, disease, and suffering before Adam sinned is a direct attack on the foundation of the message of the Cross.”

Wrong! No teaching of any kind is a direct attack on the foundation of the message of the Cross, except the teachings of thousands of years which leads people to deny Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and teach that there was death, suffering, and even disease, too happening both before and after Adam sinned through the suffering and death of every plant in the plant kingdom by sickly sweet animals, sufferings of indigestion, and worms and plants suffering starvation due to lack of decaying matter.

Billions of years of Prehistory is neither a direct attack, nor a threat to any foundations of the messages of the Gospel, the Cross, and the Atonement. In fact, billions of years of prehistory, the fossil record, and the concept of dinosaurs living and dying millions of years before humans appeared is entirely 100% irrelevant to all biblical foundations, including the foundations of the Gospel message, the Cross, and the Atonement. Ham made up such statements as a scare tactic to entice the lay audience to conform to his ways of ignorance and denial and steer them away from the valid evidence supporting what he blindly calls a lie. The truth of the matter is that these statements, a part of his empty, meaningless rally cry for power, control, and support, all simply translate to,

"The teaching that presents scientific reality through evidence is a direct attack on me [Ham], my power, and my authority!"

The Fabled Missionary Lizards

Now we see Ham branding the dinosaurs as the fabled "Missionary Lizards." Please keep in mind that the word 'dinosaur' is a misnomer. The word "dinosaur" means "Fearfully Great Lizards" or more commonly "Terrible lizards." Also, keep in mind that not all dinosaurs are terrible and none of them are lizards. Ham however proves to be a know-nothing-of-dinosaurs person as well as a know-nothing-of-Christian Theology as well as a first class hypocrite just by stating hypocritically that dinosaurs more than anything else is probably used to brainwash people into evolutionary ideas involving random chances of producing life and [sic] millions of years of death and suffering and yet turn around and do the exact same thing, plastering dinosaurs all over his crackhouse inside and out and all of his idiot books, summer camp programs, seminars, videos, radio programs, and TV shows where he makes statements to rally his supporters such as "putting evolutionists on notice, we're taking back the dinosaurs" toiletry while he's really stealing them for his own purpose of proselytizing people into believing all of his stupid lies.

It is really Ham who more than anything else uses the dinosaurs to brainwash and proselytize people into young earth creation ideas involving hatred of those who oppose their views, Adam blamed for all the natural disasters, evolution being the cause of genocide, divorce, and other society ills, and the concept of dinosaurs living with humans using scores and scores of "hopeful monsters" and dinosaurs that never existed including the vegetarian Velociraptor, a coconut, mango, watermelon eating T.rex, dinosaur ark babies, behemoth brontosaur, leviathan kronosaur, and a baryonyx dragon— all imaginary creatures that are the supposed star main attractions of Ham's pathetic crackhouse.

Indoctrination and Education: The Difference Between the two

Next, Ham fringes "sadness" in his own little world over the fact that people, Christian and non-Christian accepts evolution especially in colleges and universities and assumes that because of many dinosaur movies being popularized in theaters as well as scores and scores of real dinosaur books, being a common sight everywhere, the secular world and the church have been "indoctrinated" to believe in evolutionary ideas.

That's because evolutionary ideas are based on factual evidence that Ham and other creationists purposely ignore while doing exactly everything they accuse evolution of themselves including indoctrinating the church and the secular world into believing all their lies. When creationists use the terms "indoctrination" and "indoctrinate" to describe how the church and the people are reacting to the evolutionary ideas, they are making it as if evolution and science are just religious dogmas being used to lead people away from God. To the creationists, evolution and science are religious dogmas out to destroy the Christian Faith while the real destroyers of the Christian Faith are the creationists themselves who use evolution, "long ages," science, and secularism as scapegoats for their own flaws, faults, and failures.

There's nothing sad about the fact that people of all faiths, even Christians except evolution and the concept of billions of years of history because of mountains of scientific evidence for it. There's nothing sad about having the great dinosaur paraphernalia around including dinosaur movies made up to entertain people as well as books sold by the billions to educate people on these creatures from a lost world that's many eons old. Ham wants everyone to believe that all of this is turning people away from God while ignoring the real culprit responsible for turning people away from God who is none other than the likes of Ham himself who repeatedly use distorted sounds, images, and objects, words, out-of-context bible verses, and statements and phrases repeated constantly over and over again like a broken record, fast, forceful talk, and loud, emotional, demagogic rants to brainwash people, especially children to follow him and believe all his lies.

A stumbling block to Ham's warped dogma

Ham also falsely declares that this is becoming one of the biggest stumbling blocks to believing the Bible. It's not and Ham knows it. What's really a massive stumbling block to believing the bible is Ham's idiot dogma itself which deliberately ignores the great multitudes of scientific evidence seen here that greatly supports evolution and the concept of billions, not millions, of years ago and favors none for creationism and the concept of thousands of years ago.

This gives the church people a really good reason to laugh and scoff at the creationists and all of their stupid lies because every young earth claim is entirely made up by creationists who took only major scores of creative liberties to build up a false religious dogma out of certain out-of-context bible passages, fairy tale stories, folkloric myths, fossil, historical, and archaeological records, ancient art and literature, science fiction, magazine and newspaper articles, scientific studies and reports, movies, books, and pop culture. This, other than denying their existence, is the only way they can fit the dinosaurs into their ill-fated dogma. Despite what Ham preaches, churches, who accept evolution and/or an old earth, do teach about the foundations of Genesis, but for a much different reason than what Ham wants churches to teach.

Churches who teach Genesis and accept evolution tries to avoid hot-button subjects like creation vs. evolution like the plague because these are the ones that cause fights, divisions, and breakdowns of the church body. The issue of creation vs evolution is a subject no one's happy with because it's all about making statements and raises each others' ire, pointing fingers at one another, calling each other liars and hypocrites, flinging accusations against each other, getting real vicious and violent at one another, making loudmouth demonstrations, and other things similar to the divisions between pro-China and pro-Tibet groups over human rights violations concerning China's dealings with Tibet.

The church, let alone every other places of learning and worship such as schools, synagogues, and national parks can do without being bullied and dictated by creationists and all its supporters including creationist lawyers who thinks they have the ever-lovin' right to force others into following their ways and shoehorn materials into places they don't belong in while they in fact don't. This is USA, the land of the free and home of the brave, not Afghanistan.

Greg Nayman, an old earth creationist, is one of best gems out there when it comes to advocating both creation and evolution (Actually he doesn't agree with Darwin's view of evolution. Still he accepts evolution anyway.) and the concept of billions of years. He has a ministry and a website that carries a purpose for God. Greg's purpose is to tell the people that what Ham and other YECs teaches is unsound, unbiblical, and you can believe in both evolution, old earth and the Bible despite what the YECs indoctrinate their gullible followers into concerning about salvation. You can view his website right here.

Ham's False Accusation of Cluelessness Against Those Who Reject His Views

Moving on to page 86, Ham assumes that because most churches have allowed evolutionary ideas in and not taught the fictional foundational importance and the great dinosaur myth, people aren't sure they can trust the bible, or so he pretends. In reality, most people, especially Christians all have NO problems trusting and defending the Bible and answering the questions made by critics as well as accepting evolution and all of its facts Ham and other YECs deliberately chose to deny. Ham, in his out-right denial and hatred toward those who oppose his views, claims that when people are confronted by skeptics, they don't know what to say. (or do they know?) There is a deadness in their life, (Oh sure, Ham! Never mind the deadness in your own life!) They can't defend the Bible (sure they do unlike creationists who imagine things nonstop.) so the people they are talking to assume they don't have to take the bible seriously (Or do they?). What Ham pretends and what people really do when confronted by skeptics is two different things. Only creationists can feel the exact same way they assume Churches who accept evolution is alleged to feel. People who accept Christianity and evolution have NO problems defending and proving the Bible's authenticity even to skeptics who question them. You can see proof of it here.

This completely implies that Ham has all the answers to everything while he in fact don't. Whenever he makes claims of uncertainty among "compromisers," it sounds very much like Ham is being arrogant and boastful with absolutely no regard of the real bible history and anyone who really studied the bible for years along with all of its supplemental text coming from both Jewish and early church backgrounds which makes the bible really come alive unlike Ham's worthless distortions of Genesis and the bible.

The Real Guilty One

Young Earth Creationism is one of the many reason why so many people are driven from the church. It is not evolution that drives people out, causing them to doubt the Bible and get stumped over questions about the Bible and Christianity. It is really creation and thousands of years and those who advocate it, who are breaking up churches, causing divisions, breakdowns and questioning of the Bible and its authenticity! And that's no lie! Ham claims Christians are often confused and don't know what to say to their children while the exact opposite is true.

Whether Ham likes it or not, it is really Ham and all others like him that have brought on all the confusion themselves! It is not the church who accepts evolution and rejects Ham's lying dogma that "sadly," leads the next generation to grow up accepting evolution and often times rejecting the Bible and thus, Christianity. It's all the fault of Ham, Morris, Hovind, Gish, and all other YECs and all their stupid lies who are the real guilty ones for causing people to grow up accepting evolution and often times rejecting the Bible and thus Christianity while using non-YE-Extremists as scapegoats for their own crimes.

The Foundation of Ignorance, not thinking

Like I said before, using the Bible to explain dinosaurs is worthless and explains not a dang thing. What it only builds up is a foundation of ignorance, not of thinking. Creation and thousands of years have no honest answers at all to the questions asked by the people. Heck creation and thousands of years have no answers at all. Just stupid lies, hubris, and nothing more.

Ham's Faulty Solution

There is a large image just like the previous image found on page 82 on the lower left hand corner of the page. It illustrates a faulty solution to the make-believe attacks on the Bible and its foundations that are not there. The truth is that the empty foundations of YECism Ham tries to equate with real foundation of the Bible and Christianity just won't work. Ham thinks the solution to the problems of defending the young earth foundations that don't exist is found in Isaiah 58:12. When put in full context, however Isaiah was actually accusing Israel of not being sincere in their worship and their fasting and shows the people how true worship and fasting is to be done and what will happen in a positive way when true worship and fasting is done. Ham wants to use dinosaurs as in capital letters "missionary lizards" whom they are not and claim that the Bible and its account of the history of the universe (which there never was) can be shown to be trustworthy, while in fact it has been proven time and time again to be as trustworthy as Richard Nixon when it comes to the Watergate Scandal.

What Christians Really Should Not listen to.

Ham lies again saying that Christians can show to the world that the evolutionary story of dinosaurs cannot be defended, while it can and he knows it. In reality, it is the Creation Story of dinosaurs that cannot be defended because it's all make-believe and far from being an account that makes sense of the evidence because the evidence for it is not there. Christians, in reality should never listen to Ham and by swayed by his demagogic rants, his emotional pleadings, his distorted version of the bible, and all his stupid lies. None of what he preaches is worth defending, listening to, or preaching about because it's entirely all made up.

Next, he says that while at the same time, one can talk about origins about death, sin, and the ark of salvation, which it is actually the ark of death concerning about diseases, ventilation, feces, fast growing animals, and other flaws and problems with the ark as well as the aftermaths of the fabled global flood that will take the lives of all the rest the alleged Flood has failed to do. Comparing that with the other so-called ark of salvation, our Lord Jesus Christ, would be weak and totally useless to win people's salvation to the Lord because that means there are fatal problems with Jesus Christ as well as there are fatal problems with Noah's ark. So it won't work.
