The Seven F's of Young Earth Creationism

Here in full view is the pseudo-Bible worldview made up by creationists like Pam Sheppard, one of Ken Ham's cronies, who only focuses on a one track, outright, distorted view of Genesis 1-11, skip most of the Bible while focusing on out-of-context verses that fit their idiotic propaganda, preach that Jesus died on the cross as a feint to proselytize people into believing the 6,000 year lie, skip the rest of the bible except the out-of-context verses that fit their idiocy again, and then claim that God will one day come back to restore the Garden of Eden before our very eyes. This "biblical worldview" as they call it is all imagined up by creationists hellbent on indoctrinating people to embrace this pseudo-Christian worldview.

In this idiot article, Sheppard, after she whines "the history as recorded in the Bible has been attacked by a culture that has become increasingly evolutionized and secularized" (Sorry, Sheppard. You mean Pseudo-history that has become increasingly idiotized and fantasized and recorded only by likes of you that's being attacked by a culture in touch with reality based on historical and scientific evidence.), she then presents what Ham displays on one of his crackhouse plaques and a large poster depicting what he claims to be the Seven C's of History to which she claims to be "the correct view of history" which is not.

In direct response to the Seven C's of Pseudo-History, or God's Alleged Eternal Plan according to the plaque presented at Ham's crackhouse and the 10 foot long poster, may I present to you, The Seven F's of Young Earth Creationism; Fictional, Framed, Foredoom, Fascism, Fanaticism, Feint, and Folly.

Fictional - The first claim depicts a Fictional Tale filled with Falsehoods made up by creationists who claims that God allegedly created everything out of nowhere in 6-24 hour days 6000 years ago. 4000 years before Christ + 2000 years after Christ was born based on the calculations of Archbishop James Usher who calculated the earth to have been created in the year 4004 BC by adding up the time of events and the genealogies found in historical and religious texts, including the Hebrew Bible. He wasn't the only one who made such an attempt, though. Others did the same thing with their own historical and religious texts and calculated the creation of the earth to range from c3500 BC-5500 BC to 7,000-10,000 BC depending on result. The problem with these attempts is that this was done by adding up the time line of events that are out-of-order and have conflicting reports. Even the Bible contain events that are arranged out of order like what is found in the Book of Jeremiah and conflicting reports like what is found in 2 Samuel 24:1 and 1 Chronicles 21:1 for instance. Creationists claim that dating methods are unreliable in determining the age of the earth. So is the Genesis account unreliable for determining the age of the earth, including the genealogy of one man, with conflicting age numbers according to 3 different translations of the Bible, The Hebrew, the Samaritan, and the Septuagint, and the conflicting events of Creation according to Genesis 1 and 2 for they do not explain why do we find scores of places, human and animal bones, and artifacts accurately dated before 4004 BC.

Sheppard, in her own way, defines the term "very good" as a world where all original animals (including dinosaurs) and man eat plants and,

"Life was perfect and not yet affected by the Curse—death, violence, disease, sickness, thorns and fear had no part in the original creation."

How are they no part in the original creation, Sheppard? How do you explain the death occurring in plants? The original animals were being violent towards plants and cruel, too, giving plants not a single chance to thrive whether it's giving them no decaying matter to feed on or storing up water for later use. Thorns are a method of defense against herbivores. Without them, plants will have no chances of surviving in the world of sickly sweet animals suffering from indigestion when no decay ever occurred prior to the Fall. Features that will help animals like the camel defend themselves against the thorns will only be wasted away out of existence along with features that help animals hunt, kill, and eat meat, digestive systems that digest food (digestion is a form of decay), and immune systems that help fend off disease and sickness. It would be pointless to put the Tree of Life in the garden if no death ever occurred and the only fear the animals face is the fear of being affected by the curse once Adam sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. So no, Sheppard. This pseudo-world according to you is far from perfect let alone "very good."

Constantly creationists continue to say that evolution never happened, then contradict this by claiming that all animals descended from the original animals who were created to reproduce after them own kind. One dog representative develops into all varieties of dogs, one cat representative develops into all varieties of cats, including big cats, and so on. This, what creationists teach about representatives descending into all sorts of varieties over time, is evolution! The very same thing creationists regard as a lie, turn around, and teach the exact same thing when they claim that all animals descend from certain original representatives that were created out of nothing. It's like saying this is evolution, not evolution when Sheppard claims,

"In Genesis, God explains that He created things to reproduce after their “kinds.” And this is what we observe today: great variation within different “kinds” (e.g., dogs, cats, elephants, etc.), but not one kind changing into another, as molecules-to-man evolution requires."

Sorry Sheppard, but you are exactly teaching what you assume evolution requires. Whether you want to admit this or not, you are teaching that one kind did change into another (ie Protoceratops changing into a Triceratops, Eohippus (Hyracotherium) changing into a modern horse, Stegodon changing into a modern elephant, etc. ) when you teach that all animals have descended from the original kinds that represent them.

Creationists teach evolution! They slowly but surely are beginning to acknowledge that evolution does occur and life does change over time. They try to hide the fact that they are teaching evolution in any way they can by continuing to either claim that animals are nothing more than cloning machines or hide their teachings under the word "speciation", saying witlessly that this is not evolution while hiding from that fact that speciation is exactly what creationists lying claim it's not.

Framed - The next section has the innocent Planet Earth framed for something it had in fact no part in. According to Sheppard, the world is allegedly seen today as merely..

"..a decaying remnant—a corruption—of the beautiful, righteous world that Adam and Eve originally called home."

..all because he ate the forbidden fruit after God told him not to. This is the result of distorting Genesis 3:19 and Romans 5:12 and 8:20-22 while ignoring the fact that there is no implications in the verse that tells us God had to unjustly curse the innocent earth and make it suffer for something it took no part of. The verses in Romans only refers to humans, especially the "creation/creature" who are in fact humans, not nature, who have yet to hear the Gospel message of hope through Jesus Christ.

Creationists like to pin all of the natural disasters, decay, death, and carnivory on Adam, claiming that this is not God's fault that all these things happen, but instead it's all Adam's fault for all of the extinctions, predations, decaying, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, and everything else unpleasant, never mind the many verses in the bible, like this one, that clearly depict God as the mastermind behind all the earthquakes, disease, sufferings, droughts, floods, storms, etc.

God cursed only Adam, Eve, and the Serpent. He did not curse the Earth for the crimes the 3 real guilty ones have committed. Adam was cursed to toil in the field filled with thorns and thistles for food until the day he dies and return to dust from where he came from. There may have been no thorns and thistles inside the Garden, but outside the Garden, that's a different story. The Garden of Eden was real small in comparison with all of the vast regions of the Earth where it is likely there were thorns and thistles to protect plants from being eaten by herbivores, predators hunting prey and scavenging carcasses to prevent diseases and prevent over grazing, decaying matter for worms and plants to feed on, volcanoes shaping landscapes, rivers forming canyons, storms to cool the hot air and replenish rivers and lakes with fresh water for people, plants, and animals to drink, and so much more, making all of God's creation "very good" in obtaining a real, stable, healthy ecosystem.

Foredoom - The next section claims that because the fossil record was the result of plants, animals, and people being buried by the Flood featuring a infamous, annoying broken record.

"This earth-covering event has left its mark even today. From the thousands of feet of sedimentary rock found around the world to the “billions of dead things buried in rock layers” (fossils), the Flood reminds us even today that our righteous God cannot—and will not—tolerate sin, while the Ark reminds us that He provides a way of salvation from sin’s punishment."

The Karoo Formation in Africa is made up about 800 Billion "dead things" each living in different periods of time. If all those "dead things" live at the same time, the world would be heavily overcrowded with no room to move about without bumping into each other. None of them were laid down by the Flood. In fact no fossil has ever been laid down by the Flood. Period. One of the best debunkers of the claim about the fossils being laid down by the Flood is burrows. Especially the burrows found in the bones that are made by burrowing insects that burrow into the bones to eat them. One fossil of a Camptosaurus was found with beetle burrows dotting what left of its bones. The bones were being eaten by Dermestid beetles that eat bones for food. They still exist today scavenging on dead carcasses just like they did millions of years ago.

If young earth is true, then the story of Noah's ark is really the story of the passengers' foredoom that lies ahead for everyone leaving the ark, just after the Flood ended, to face a cruel ill-fated future that lies before them. While preaching the message of salvation, creationists would use the ark to represent Christ who offer salvation to anyone who will come to Him just like the ark that offer Noah, his family, and the animals salvation from the Flood. Unfortunately, the ark, in this case, is a very bad representation of Christ because it poses major problems even creationists have a hard time trying to solve without invoking unfounded miraculous explanations and distorting the Flood passage. After the Flood or so the creationists say, so many animals faced extinction due to the Ice Age, which creationists falsely claimed to have occurred after the Flood, competition over food and space, and overhunting. One has to wonder, why did God allow so many organisms to die off when His real intention was to keep them alive? If God wanted the animals to be saved and yet they die off after the Flood ended, then what's the point of rescuing them? If the young earth is true, then no one survives the Flood's aftermath even when they're saved from the Flood by the so-called ark of salvation. The word "ark" comes from an old word "aron" meaning "chest," "box," even "coffin" which the ark turns out to be just that— a coffin, making the vessel more of an ark of death, then an ark of salvation.

Fascism - The next part purely displays pure creationist fascism, where, after telling about the Tower of Babel and the confusion of the language, Sheppard mentions an unfounded fallacy that claims there are less then twenty different language families known in the world today.

"Today, we have thousands of languages but fewer than twenty language 'families.'"

Uhh.. what do you call this?

Languengl.gif

There sure are more than twenty language families in the world today. I don't know where did Sheppard ever get such nonsense of "fewer than twenty language families" from, but what I do know is that Sheppard made it all up without a second thought.

The next part claims,

"All the tribes and nations in the world today descended from these various groups. Despite what you may have been led to believe about our seeming superficial differences, we really are all “one blood” (Acts 17:26)—descendants of Adam and Eve through Noah and his family—and all, therefore, in need of salvation from sin."

The verse in which Sheppard is referring to reads,

"And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;"

That verse in the KJV Bible is used most often to justify the fascist teachings made by the likes of Adolph Hitler who teach that all Germans (his own people) are of "One Blood" (Aryans). When the verse is put into full context we read,

"24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring."

That's from the KJV Bible. Now look at the NIV version of the Bible below,

"24 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'"

And here's the passage in ESV,

24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'

The passage is part of a chapter where Paul is talking to the people of Athens about how this "Unknown God" the people have set a monument to is real invisible being, who created everything and establish all nations through one man, in comparison with the gods they worshiped made of only gold, silver, and wood.

This passage does no justice in making all humans into a one race society. In fact it is used many times to justify the fascist actions of Hitler, Stalin, and other dictators who regards their own people as "one blood" while everyone else is regarded as inferior. What creationists teach about race has "hypocrisy" written all over it. Although AiG teach that all humans, no matter what color, gender, and race, are of "one blood," this doesn't stop them from turning around and spew out the most prejudicial, racist, hate mongering speeches ever read from their website and heard from their seminar. They speak of all humans being "one blood—descendants of Adam and Eve through Noah and his family" while telling sob stories about the likes of Ota Benga in hopes of endorsing the evolution = racism lie, yet at the same time display utmost hypocrisy when they spew out senseless hatred towards atheists, theistic evolutionists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Jews, Mormons, Hindus, agnostics and old-Earth creationists, gays, lesbians, and Catholics, strive to destroy the livelihoods of the Australian Aborigines and indoctrinate them to their own religion whether they like it or not, pray that God will destroy Darwin's house, hire only people who are not atheists, theistic evolutionists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Jews, Mormons, Hindus, agnostics and old-Earth creationists, gays, lesbians, and Catholics, and indoctrinate children into becoming racists just like the creationists. This what Sheppard teaches is an example of pure creationist racial fascism.

Fanaticism - This whole article address a need to spread the salvation message of Jesus Christ throughout the world. But, we don't need creationist fanaticism to spread the Gospel message around. Despite the fact that preachers constantly insist that the creation/evolution issue doesn't matter when it comes to preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ, creationists made it be something that (to them) matters. Actually, creationists shoehorn the young earth dogma into the salvation message to profane it. They use what they profane as a pawn to set people up for the Fall, and make up all sorts of unfounded claims such as the claim that God having to kill one animal because of Adam's sin. There's no such incident found in the Bible where God had to kill an animal just after Adam sinned in the garden. Where they got such a concept from is in Genesis 3:21 where God made garments out of skin and used them to cover Adam and Eve's nakedness. There's nothing in the verse that has any implications of God having to kill an animal to make clothing for Adam and Eve to wear. To me, it is likely that God, otherwise, made the animal skins from nothing and made them appear on the bodies of Adam and Eve before sending them out of the Garden.

Note Sheppard taking Ezekiel 18:4 out of context to imply that God has promises to send Someone to save mankind from the penalty of sin which is death. When put into full context we find that God was showing Ezekiel an example of individual responsibility and how we are responsible for our own actions. Read phttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=EZE%2018;&version=31; the whole chapter] and you'll see what I mean.

Feint - The next part preaches the gospel message of Jesus Christ as a feint (meaning "a trick") to deceive and proselytize people into believing the untruthful dogma of young earth creationism, not knowing its damaging, destructive power.

Folly - As a Christian, I, too believe that Jesus will come back to earth someday to purge the world of sin and set up a new heaven and a new earth just as foretold in Revelation 21 of the Bible. Sheppard mentions this in the last part of the article as well. However, when creationists preach about Jesus Christ coming back to earth, they preach that anyone who believes that "men came from monkeys" and "dinosaurs lived long before humans" will burn in Hell for eternity. Jack Chick, Kent Hovind, and other creationist radicals preach such a threatening message that intimidates even Christians who rejected their lying dogma, including myself. This is pure absolute folly that leads them to think they can slip themselves into God's shoes and make all the decisions on who's going to Heaven and who's going to Hell all because they either accept or reject their lying dogma, but they are mistaken.

It is not for them to decide whether a person goes to either Heaven or Hell depending on whether they accept their lying dogma or not. Only God has the authority to do that, but not for what creationists falsely assume. Saying that one goes to Hell for rejecting creationism is entirely unbiblical. So is accepting young earthism to be a Christian unbiblical, too. To be a Christian, you must only accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and make Him a personal part of your life without any condition whatsoever. That's it! No ifs, ands, or buts about it. That's how you become a Christian and be saved. No other type of condition will do.

Sheppard then concludes the article by asking this question,

"What is needed to combat our society’s evolutionary propaganda?"

Answer: "Nothing." Nothing is needed to combat what is truthful based in valid scientific evidence because there's nothing offensive or bad about it. Even creationists teach evolution and acknowledge that life does change over time through Natural Selection despite all their efforts to hide it from their followers lest the deception gets revealed and the truth behind the young earth lie becomes clearly known.
